Make sure there is paperwork to back up the cambelt having been done and a receipt for the new cambelt kit the guy has bought. Personally I'd try and see if you can negotiate a bit of cash off and use it to have the cambelt kit fitted for peace of mind.

I'm getting my cambelt done soon and I'll get the waterbelt done too as it's not that much extra and easier for them to do it all at the same time.

Not meaning to trash your idea (they're awesome cars) but have you checked the 1*2 wouldn't hurt your back? I'm 6'4" and I find my Cup seats very unforgiving on my lower back.
