Thanks for the replies guys, I'd not really considered the safety angle but you're right, that has put me off. I am considering just upgrading the existing speakers and getting an amp to improve the sound quality.

Mine has faded but it looks to be dark silver (like the airbag and steering wheel decals). Any ideas what colour it is supposed to be?

Lovely motor, the red interior looks good and I totally understand about the compromise on the wheels. They're meant to handle better on the 18s and you can always get some 19s at a later stage (maybe even some CSLs?) :)
