Renault OE pads are crazy expensive. Those ^^^ and many other aftermarket pads will fit. (eventually). Some owners prefer genuine regardless of the higher cost.

Wanting an instantly recognisable top of the range model was probably one reason. The 1.2 and the 1*2 range look too similar to the untrained eye.

Don't forget to bring your bag of tricks to FCS Dawn. Detailing all the bronze Vees on the club stand I've heard. ;)

When I spot a MK 1 172 I give a wee nod. they seem to be the only RS owners who respond, the rest look away very quickly and pretend not to have noticed me, so I stopped bothering.

Mine has been running perfectly for about a year now and I'm getting 24 around town and 30 on a long run. Have it looked after by a proper v6 specialist garage and you'll be smiling for certain. A handy buyers guide.
