So this weekend. The engine is in and it is alive - few issues tho.
Forge silicone hoses the heater matrix pipe leaks at the joiner - the diameter of the pipe is way to big so I guess this is popular? But I have contsct forge for this....
The link pipe supplied by ktec doesn't fit properly it...
SO i am starting stripping the car down tonight ready for engine to be taken out and replace it with the new turbo lump!
im so excited but on the other hand nervous aswell!!!
might be lokong to sell my recaro trendlines in blue to replace with either sparco buckets or recaro pole positions! but...
So arranged the date for the engine to go in - 25th September I will ne begin putting new engine and hoping to have it mapped end of October.

Hi guys, I've built a forged engine for my turbo build - I got megane pistons wth ZRP forged rods with arp 2000 bolts - when spinning over the crank the rod bolts are very very close to the oil pump - a mate of mine said his touched and he grinded off abit of the bolt to clear it, mine doesn't...
Right so and update!
Started rebuilding the block new piston rings and put on forged conrods on my megane pistons so will be able to safely hit 300bhp without worrying about my rods bending.
All that I need to do is order vacuum pipe for the bov and gauges etc... and find a yard to use for...
I stuck brembos on mine and I don't do track days tbf.. The best purchase I've done yet. Scenic 300mm discs with megane brembos and the adapters with braided lines came to about 500 quid.
You won't regret it.
I'm really not sure what way of water feed I should do for my clio turbo build.
I have got water feed kit from ktec they go to thermostat then into coolant tank I think?
But I've seen on here people t into inlet and outlet of the heater matrix? What sort of ft tings do I need for the etc ?

I have 3 piston with bm5 on the tip and 1 cm5 I'm curious as to what this could be as I don't want it to ne different piston.

Hi all, I purchased ktecs oil feed kit in which the adapter to go into the turbo doesn't fit - they told me the feed kit fits all garretts well obviously not the case -
I have a gt2560r so does anyone know what size or type of adapter I need etc or .... what they have done

I'm just enquiring as I'm thinking into buying a megane box to put into my clio for my boost build,
I have been told 1/2 inch of chassis leg needs cutting for it to to fit and use clio shafts with megane inner joints and clio outer cv joints,
Only enquiry is can this work as I want a box...
its rather strange, shall I just order a adjustable actuator? the manifold shouldn't matter what so ever as I know other people have had to rotate there turbos anyway so the manifold im not worried about, its obviously something to with the actuator angle supplied? strange one I know
anyone got recommendations on what studs and bolt to use for turbo to manifold? and to downpipe etc..
