I have a spare rear beam and cup wishbones that have had the PMS bearing kits welded in. Just need to get my subframe seam welded and then lots of bits are off for powder coating  I will then fit my rear disc kit that I did for my and @NorthloopCup cars (when he had a mk2 :tongueclosed:)...
You say track car like that's a bad thing?? I will proudly bring it back to its former glory just quite a bit lighter. 2017 is the year that I hope it'll be finished!! I won't talk of my full plans so not to upset previous owners!!!
Some pics from yesterday of YK54VFC
It looks crap :tonguewink:
Shame you couldn't pop round, was looking forward to a cuppa and a mooch round the AG
I was too busy putting floor boards down anyway!!
Can only imagine the ride home 🙈
Yes YK54VFC was originally @Christopher 's, now lots of owners down the line it is mine
I hope to bring it back to the condition from its glory years with a few of my own little changes with the help of my buddy @NorthloopCup
Cool, I know you went in person but do they do mail order? Is it expensive? You can PM if you want

Time for another quick update
I've been busy refurbishing brake components, so you saw the front caliper carriers above. They went from that to this

Did some more on the utility room we've been doing. Got a few tiles on while we waited for my mates trailer to become available
Well my mates trailer came free, and we brought it home. Those who have hauled a shell onto a trailer will...
Time for another quick update
Following on from my previous post I have purchased an EPAS controller from the guy in Portugal off eBay. In my excitement I took all the power steering pipes and reservoir off the RB and chucked them inside the sunflower.
I've finally got top side of the DIY...
Cheers mate you've made me blush now. But I did make a promise and I came up with the goods!!
Now for my passenger ride so I can squeal like a girl 🙈😂:stig:
Well thought I better update my thread...
Been busy doing DIY the boss wanted so the Clio has been sat for a while and it's my busy time at work so no chance of getting any real work done soon!! But I have bought some bits :cool:
Some nice pulleys from TTV
Full EPAS column setup...
This uprated rear setup strengthens the wheel bearing/stub axle assembly utilising an EN24T stub axle and a strong but lightweight adapter bracket made from 7075-T651 aluminium. The intended results of this package is longer wheel bearing life with less likelihood of a bearing failure when you...
EN24T stub axles = hard as nails
7075 T6 brackets = light as f**k
So a lighter setup (reduction in unsprung weight) which has stronger stub axles and a disc with a larger wheel bearing. Why wouldn't you?
Some people waste their money on pointless bits for their cars that have no real benefit...
