Here is some pictures of the interior, I need a black bottom half of the dashboard and a few trims.
Much nicer than the expression interior I think.
Let me know what you guys think!
Update: Here are some pictures of it almost "finished", it's never finished is it ;)
Iv'e started flatting back places I wasn't too happy with the finish.
The rear is still in need of a little more love, I need a new brake light and a short aerial.
You can see where Iv'e flatted back some...
4300K are the standard bulbs I believe.. D2s
5000-6000K have a whiter tone and look more modern, they'd be your best bet.
A set can be purchased of eBay relatively cheap...
The gold wheels have really grown on me to be honest, they will be staying for a while unless I come across a set of turinis cheap.
I will post clean pictures tomorrow.
Quite a delay, sorry guys.
We got her assembled and on the road.
Here's a dirty pic for now, the door bullets are being sprayed :)
I also bought a sport leather interior, I hated the grey expression seats! :banghead:
Will post pictures up tomorrow :)
We're not all tw*ts who race everywhere, a person in a 1*2 replica knows their not in a 1*2 so wont even take on a bigger car.
(Personally speaking)
Anyway I am very sorry replying to such an old thread :o
But I do search...
Likely to happen due to dampness. Mine did the exact same thing when I first bought it, probably because it was parked up for weeks with a leaky sunroof.
Although mine used to flash when I turned my headlights on not like yours.
Fixed the sunroof and used the car with the heaters on for a few...
This is a lovely example, love the sporty looks whilst keeping the functionality of a 5 door.
My grandmother finds it difficult getting out of my 3 door clio, LOL.
Hi, a 172 replica would be a much easier to build than a 182. The 182 exhaust does not fit other Clios because of the spare wheel well. Ketch have made a replica 182 exhaust though, although if you're driving in 2015 you are a year ahead of us so someone might have come up with an easier and...
A replica cost me around £400 to build on a £700 car. That adds upto £1100 yes?
find me a good condition 1*2 that will cost me £1100 & £800 to insure at 19 with ncb... Not to mention running costs + tax.
everybody starts somewhere.
Thoroughly enjoyed reading this thread, good work. :approve:
Any more progress to update us with?
A few members on Cliosport.net can be very rude and unhelpful sometimes though!
I've been looking at a set of springs that are 60 front and 40 back.
Will this make the cars nose face down or will it level out? I'm confused about that. Haha
Cut me a break ;)
That's the plan mate, drop it 60mm.
My only concern is that will 60mm make it unusable, there are a shed load of speed humps around my place :headbang:
I think the gold goes ok with the red. Some do, some don't :)
I bet!
Not a bad effort, any injury's or was you as lucky as me?
The car I crashed, I had that for 10 days. My mother had it for 6 years before me. :banghead:
I do like that!
Although if I was to strip it, I'd like to remove all the plastics.
Iv'e been thinking about a complete rear end strip and a gloss white interior spray?
