Cheers, Patrick is looking good too! ;)
As my clio is the expression model it has the grey door cards and bottom half of the dash, I want the sports interior.
I am unsure weather to strip the rear end and use bucket seats, as the rear is never used. What do you think?
I do plan to lower it...
Yeah I know pal, your rep was lovely!
The tracker works though the phone, I have a giff gaff sim in it.
When the tracker is rang off an authorized number it replies with its coordinates and a link to google earth, where your call will be. Pretty cool.
It also comes with a wiring diagram so you...
Thanks everyone, I am looking at a set of turinis :approve:
I have purchased a GPS tracker for Cherry (my cars name btw ;)), it's a pretty cool little device that can tell me exactly where my car is!
Definitely worth it's money.
Size reference against a Samsung Galaxy S3 mini:
A maze of...
Thanks to everyone showing interest. :D
I've been so busy building the car I've not much time to update.
The bumpers and sunroof have been build back up and the lights.
We are in the process of flagging the paint back ready for it to be mopped :)
Thanks :)
I know a guy who works at an automotive parts store so all in it has cost around £60 for the entire job incl sand paper etc.
So not bad really, looks better than the faded pink it was before.
Here's an update over the last two days, I was too tired to do a write up when I got home yesterday.
Yesterday:
We had to build a booth so the over-spray didn't go everywhere!
It was built made from a wooden frame and polythene sheets.
Day finished, ready to flat the primer back...
That replica above looks nice mate.
To answer the questions I stayed red. The paint code is c70.
It looks really nice, bright red!
I will post some pictures later on tonight when I'm at my PC.
i need alloys now, anyone know for a set of turinis?
Got the car flatted back today and masked up ready for its paint.
Still needs some more work before being painted though.
Please bare with me when it comes to the pictures, I'm limited with room and I'm taking them with an iPad.
That's it for today.
On track for painting it on...
Cheers, Everyone!
Knuckles, your car in fact is one of my biggest inspirations!
That car looked absolutely lovely!
How much of a fiddle was it to get the bumper to fit the standard wings?
It's not a budget project as such, the only thing I'm in short of is time :banghead:
I started this car today and it NEEDS to be out of the garage by Sunday so it's all hands on!
Hi, my name is Cory and I am here to share my project with you all.
I have been inspired by a lot of people on this website and I cannot wait to get to know you lot!
After a little disagreement with my car and barriers left me searching for another car I came across this Clio:
63,000 miles, 12...
I need a car for work, so I couldn't wait about.
I was thinking changing the stupidly narrow wheels would make more of a difference than adding a spoiler ;)
It was just myself in the car on my way to work at 6.15AM.
I was in the 2nd lane doing 65-70 MPH and lost my back end.
1st impact was the front of the car with the nearside barrier which spun it around to hit the rear on the nearside barrier, which then propelled me to the offside barrier which...
Hi everyone, I'm Cory and this is my first post on this website.
I have been reading through this site a lot lately and got a lot of inspiration so I bought a Clio.
Black ice + Clio = :(
I don't see why someone would make 172 or a 182 replica and keep their original bullets?
I've never seen a Ferrari 355 with a Toyota MR2 badge on it! :clown:
Great work btw, looking great :approve:
