Had the engine light flashing whilst at idle, on the move it disappears. Stop and it starts flashing again. Plugged it in and getting fault codeDF030 - electric fan speed 2. Any ideas? Cheers

CS God gone bad. Perhaps he had issues in the past where nuts & bolts weren't done up properly so over compensated on this occasion. I will ban myself now!

Shat a spark plug. No local garage would take the job on. Recommended a garage 55 miles away. Spoke to owner. Had car recovered to his. Heli coil fitted. Recovery £80 Repair £50 Plugs £30 (rpd) Leads already had a spare set in shed.

Just to update this thread. The cup is back on the road. Found a guy who was happy to do the work with out stripping the car. She lives on....for now. Cheers all who chipped in on this and offered advice.

Yeah I've already got new plugs and a spare set of leads & coil pack so help keep cost down. This is what's left of my lead. Just need to find a decent garage now.
