I had it done a few weeks ago by a proper old boy who done hundreds in his time. Cost me £60 from memory.
Said he cuts the thread and uses grease on the cutting tool first then grease on the end of a screwdriver to remove as much of the remaining swarf as possible, then a air line to blow the...
Picked mine up today no issues. Asked if they would still honour the price match and they will. The store has had no notification from head office so still available.
Had the engine light flashing whilst at idle, on the move it disappears. Stop and it starts flashing again.
Plugged it in and getting fault codeDF030 - electric fan speed 2.
Any ideas?
Cheers
CS God gone bad.
Perhaps he had issues in the past where nuts & bolts weren't done up properly so over compensated on this occasion.

No local garage would take the job on.
Recommended a garage 55 miles away.

Recovery £80
Repair £50
Plugs £30 (rpd)
Leads already had a spare set in shed.

She lives on....for now.
Cheers all who chipped in on this and offered advice.

Just need to find a decent garage now.

With...
Cheers guys.
I've had the car a year now, done 10k in that time. There is a receipt from 2013 for plugs from the previous owner.
Funnily enough orded oil, filter and plugs from rpd, just not had time to service the car yet and they are sat on the kitchen table.
Asuming by mentioning time...
Hi guys
Driving home from work and the car suddenly thinks it's a Chinoock helicopter.
Belts and dephaser were done almost 12 months ago by a specialist and to be honest sounds a lot worse than a diesel so asuming it's not dephaser related but I'm no mechanic.
Haven't had a chance to look and...
Paint depth guage you should look into this http://www.paintdetective.com/buy_now.html great piece of kit.
As for a sun gun, the best and cheapest way is to make one. Buy a cheap battery powered drill and Google.
