Key fob not locking car issue help please

Hi problem today key fob is not locking the car.I have too stick the key in passenger door and use the lock button on the dash.The fob is flashing red when pressed but will not open or lock
I only have 1 key and uch,ecu etc was changed when i had the car remapped with the rs2 inlet fitted by a specialist who didnt give me the vin number of the car.
What are my options

You cant swap them out due to the map.

Maybe get another uch and get it coded to match if its that not sure how much that would cost tho.

I have a 172 ecu set with 2 keys but not sure how much that helps you

Cheers Dave i cant see what else will be the cause so as its a 172 cup with no air con etc would i need a specific set Thanks

Im not 100% sure mate as the 172 has climate control otherwise the same @bloke will it work?

agree since it had that inlet fitted its been a pita.Fancy a rs2 :wink:
