Origional r s tuner

Bought the above and downloaded the latest software program off fastchip. The tuner will not connect, keeps coming up with an error saying it's not recognised etc. I've read I will need the older software program, I have emailed henk. This ring true with anyone who has the older tuner and used it recently?

That will be the case mate. The firmware has been updated several times since the original RS Tuner. Hopefully Henk will have backups of the older releases.

Yeah thought so. Have pm'd the seller as he said he used it recently

I've been given the software he used, albeit 12 or so months ago, still won't communicate with the car. I think it may be an issues with the driver as its saying connect tuner to the pc, but it is allready.

Also how hard is it to find the General settings on a hp pavilion, seriously. We had an issue with someone (not me) breaking the screen so had that fixed along with a couple of other issues, can only think sonething has changed or been renamed. Anyway will borrow a mates laptop.

If you're having issues with it being an old Tuner, you can borrow my later one if ya need to. Obviously you'll need another licence, but henk might sort you out seeing as you've had no luck with yours?

Sorted. The old tuner was an arse to use with windows 8. Using windows 7 was very straightforward.
Car has never been mapped so done what i need to and sent the info off to henk.

Is that right 29 for the map and 60 for the unlock code? Its been a while me doing this.

Update. After buying the unlock code and map henk has refunded me. Reason is because they don't support that model anymore.

Lol. I can get the maps but the tuner will still be locked to the previous car. He refunded me the license request too

Yeah spotted that. Have sent him an email asking if I can buy the unlock code as I have the origional maps from ages ago.
