I went custom for mine as got fed up trying to find some, cost me £60 for the pair and it's a much better way of doing it IMO
1 pipe from the splitter box to the calliper now joins
I got taken out by a Romanian lorry on the M1 and obviously being Romanian insured I couldn't go through his so had to call mine to deal with it.
9 Months on all settled 100% not to blame, NCB not affected and excess paid back to me
when I went to renew, it was £500 more I was like what the F...
Should have worded it better i was trying to work on the car while writing that and i cant multitask for sh*t
Very nice though really like the F10 shape
Should have bought a Japanese car, They know how to make a good car!
Germans cant make good cars only boring tanks, they only make good cranes! that i have to work on daily
Beautiful mate! If I was going to buy an M car it would have to be the 5 or the 4 maybe 1 day :)
Should have gone Jap Germans can't make cars they make cranes that allow me to have my toys
The WRX-S was a hatchback 2010 plate
I cant see them fitting a different box to the S and the WRX so I'm unsure on the figures you have found, I take gear ratios online with a pinch of salt ill look in my book later that has it for all models
it will just be the electric level motor, not needed really just manually adjust them and unplug it
just make sure adjuster hasn't snapped (common is posted) are the inside all lose and flopping about
It was a very easy going daily, the 6 speed box is beautiful to use very smooth the JDM box that is fitted to Scotts is shorter still but more suited for track,
personally I would go STI just for the box, My dad had a WRX -S and that was 5 speed and would sit as 4k rpm at 80mph where as mine...
Agree quite a few specialists will refuse them, very friendly with Hursts and they wont touch them with a barge pole unless they have been forged
the best is the JDM Sti 2.0L then its the 2005 Sti 2.0L
Hi mate, In standard form they are 305bhp but the engine is known to be bad they tend to melt pistons,
within 17,000 the engine destroyed itself so it had a brand new engine under warranty but the owner paid extra to have Forged pistons, crank, rods and uprated bearing and bolts fitted to future...
Cheers mate, the hatch is very stealthy looking as you don't expect it, just looks like a focus to hatchback to some.
It's picking the line between raw and still fun on the road
My blob needed a 25mm rear arb and 24mm front and the hatch only needs 20mm front 22mm rear max
To be honest the hatch seems to be a much more stiffer chassis but the biggest biggest draw back is the steering feel, just to overly light for my liking
Luckily you can have the rack revised to be heavier which in going to have done and that's brings to about 9/10 on steering feel
In comparison
The only reason I don't like GAZ is the fact my mate had a rear shock snap and its the first I've heard off,
just kind of put me off for life if I'm honest
In theory my hatch should be exactly the same as I've got bassically the same engine set up and power yet to try it though,
I know I got 3.1 in my last blob at 0-62 event
That had no fancy traction system the hatch does only the DCCD system but that would spin all 4 R888 on launch
Launch and...
I agree with ^
I've just got AST and opted for 513/513 but its still not stiff enough so I'm going to move onto 627/684
I've bought cheap (well Koni) previously and they only lasted 2 years
