Managed to get it compressed, stuck some rubber pads on the clamps to stop it slipping.
I haven’t fully tightened / uncompressed yet. I’ve never done this, only ever fitted coilovers but does this seem right, I expected a perfect fit at the top of the shock. I can move it so it’s perfect bet ur...
Yeah, it’s crazy you’d think it would be easy. If I was at work I’d just mill some brackets up that sit at the angle, but trying to not drive all the way there and back!
Not sure if this is the right place but the coil spring snapped on our lasses fiesta, I’ve stripped it all, bought some coil springs but how the f**k do I use them safely, the springs are on such an angle the compressors just spin to one side etc.
many tips?
I bought a blower / sucker a few weeks ago. took it back as it was w**k, I bought a leaf rake for like £30 from B and Q and its amazing, doesnt hurt your back and takes a few minutes to clear a 10m x 8m lawn with a full wheely bin full of leaves!
Honestly get a rake!
Yeh is that the Mcallister one? It looked to only be 8ft in b and q.
milwaukee do do one, but you have to buy a garden tool thing first, I could make it work as I need a strimmer as my cheap flymo packed in.
really don’t wanna drop 350 on a pole say / strimmer tho!
I also need a leaf sucker!
It did look a right sod,
these little pieces of steel look like they should move over to allow the clutch to push all the way over. That isn’t happening though. Thanks for your help by the way, bolted the top part back together before doing any damage 😳
I can’t see anything obvious, where are you based? Anywhere near Rotherham.
the clutch isn’t engaging fully.
First picture is engaged in reverse, which works fine. Second picture show it not full engaged going forward.
Is that what you do restore lathes? I have an issue with mine so might throw a question or two in here if that’s ok 😂
hopefully will start stripping mine later, but basically it’s a holbrook lathe and to operate you lift the handle for forward and push it down for reverse.
Now it has a mind of...
In the summer months I’m using 400-500kw of gas, that’s keeping the water warm and all the cooking on the gas cooker, no heating has been on etc.
I guess all I can do is set the timer and compare but it’s a bigger as heating will be going on in October.
I’ve been thinking about this, this morning. With me leaving mine on 24/7 could that be more economical than having it set to kick in twice a day?
mid i kicks in for 10 mins a few times a day to maintain the Temperature vs letting the temp drop for 20 hours then taking an hour to heat it up etc?
Roll that’s exactly as I thought it would work. If I set timers will it just warm the water at the time I put in. I guess I need to turn it off and then do a test of how long it takes to warm it up so I know when to program it.
I did say 3 plus gas but should have said 4 really 😂👍
I assume it’s...
Hi guys, just after a bit of advice about my boiler before so get a plumber I. To try and explain things.
I just want to know how it all works, I can use the control panel to set the time and date etc for heating but how is the boiler heating the water? Or isn’t it.
Here are a few pics of my set...
