Imo it just seems stupid to give your life up to do that, I’m sure sky news said 5 people have died this year competing? If so that’s horrendous and surely must be more than normal? I don’t watch it and aren’t into it but as a sport it sounds like huge odds for death.

I use dormer ones, still snapped a few over the years, also ground some down to fit different holes 😂

You had a go with it? They’re amazing! I bought the pads that let the dust go through them. Seem way better than the pads with holes. Did all my kitchen worktops with it, tops, sides and angled the edge etc.

100% buy a trailer mate, renting is a right waste an an arse picking up / dropping off. That said If you need to rent or want to try it I know a few close to you, near Stocksbridge. Also storage places to keep one if your needing space at home etc 👍

I’ve 3-4 sets of Mitutoyos and have had some 15 years. Just put something over them in between use so they don’t get dusty / wet.

I’ve got a Ryzen 9 12 core and play a game from 1999. You can literally play it on a toaster ffs. Don’t think I’ve ever upgrade though!

That end mill is crazy, I’ve snapped loads of smaller ones taking 1-2mm cuts. We do buy some cheap white though!
