Hi guys, new to the forum and relatively new to Clios. Heard a lot about the RS tuner map. But just wondered what exactly is it? How does it work? How/where do you buy it? Is it a plug and play type thing?
HELP!
Hi guys, been a member on here for about a year since I got my first 172 last June. Had it about a month and sold it as was a bit of a heap, but now I'm back with this:
Picked it up on Sunday with the intention of doing some track days in it over the next year or so. Let me know what you...
Decided to update the look of my car by adding some LED sidelights, the right hand one now doesn't work (along with the right rear tail light). Checked the fuse and was blown so replaced that. Rear lights both worked fine now front right sidelight won't work whatever bulb I put in. And also the...
Just fitted my new aftermarket steering wheel. Obviously airbag and service lights are on as no airbag, but also my traction control light has come on and won't go away :S.
Any ideas??
Thanks for the advice buddy :). Yeah I hear good things about cooksports! Might go for them but my mate is offering me his 6 month old sportlines for £60. So not sure what to do as I wanna go 15" but not have HUGE arch gap :/
Still looks decent :). Thing is I'm not gonna be going down the track car route like I did with my fiesta again, just wanna improve the handling a bit :).
I've heard really bad things about VMaxx coilovers, I know people who have had them for other cars and they're really bouncy. But I suppose if all you want is a low car then they're alright!
Hi guys, had my Monaco 172 ph2 a couple of weeks now and already want coilovers as I've come from a track prepped Fiesta with racing coilovers to what feels like a boat. I don't want to go full track spec this time but definitely need to improve the barge-like handling of the Clio.
Just asking...
I would but at the moment the ghey rear lights are letting it down! Had a go at "restoring" the headlights yesterday with the 3M kit, a lot better than before but still not great.
Will take a trip to the local scrappy tomorrow to find some standard rear lights :)
Picked her up a couple of weeks back but not been driving it yet as I'm waiting until my birthday to insure it (makes it like £200 cheaper). Which is actually tomorrow so not too long to wait now!
Just a few close ups for now will get some full pictures at some point. Oh and excuse the crappy...
Had a little search around on here but no luck finding what I need so apologies if this has already been covered!
I just want to know how you go about removing the trim panels I.E. the silver trim bits between the airbag and glovebox etc.
I'm guessing they just un-clip? But don't wanna try it...
I have heard about the cooksport ones but can't find anywhere to buy them. I had eibach pro kit springs on my old Fiesta and they lowered it 40mm. Were really good springs and fairly comfortable.
