Hello.
Does anyone know of a company that sells a boost pipe kit for a Clio 182 or am I goin to need to order them all separate and use loads of clamps.
Ideally I'd like as little joins as possible.
Thanks
Jay
Ok that's great I can make a list now at least then order a load and see how I get on. .
Hoping to have it done while the weather is nice . Ben nice to wire in the loom today if I get a chance.
Thanks again
Ok cool thanks for that I'll get on it later. Suppose I best give it a few more days to see if mine are going to be sent out after so long waiting a few more days won't hurt. Do you remember what diameter pipe you went for adni can see I'll have to ask for a refund in the end.
Car looks real good mate. Can I ask where you got your boost pipes and hoses from. ? And what studs and nuts have you used for the turbo to manifold join.
I'll be interested in putting mine on the rollers as I'll have finished my turbo conversion by then . Well if the parts that I ordered nearly 2 months ago turn up by then.
Seems the renault world can be hard work getting hold of parts.
Can someone add me to the list as im useless at computer...
hello. I'm about to order a pair of wishbone arms for my 182 and wondered if Their are any differences in the sport models sizes ect . I'll most likely order from renault so I'm hoping they will send me the correct parts using my reg number.
Also do they normally come with the ball joints or...
hello.. does anyone know for sure if their are any differences in the looms.. both cars have the same throttle body but one has no cruise control or traction ect so was wondering if this is a changed loom or just controlled differently..
i have tried searching on here but different to what im...
hi..
can anyone help with this im wondering if people use the original 182 manifold studs and nuts when bolting the turbo manifold on or are their a different set/ uprated set that are recomended.. if anyone has any links or phone numbers of places to contact would be great..
also the...
It is the alpine one mate but second hand so a lot less money. It is good though it even scrolls the track name on the screen wher it would normally just have a station name .
I've just fitted a ida x305 with alpine adaptor and the stalk controls work fine and it even displays the track name from the iPod or dab radio onto the original Renault display. I'm pretty chuffed with it. Not brand new of course but all for under 150 and miles better than the original one.
Be worth asking Andy to have a look then he your best bet around here . He used to be a Renault tech and has built his turbo one enough times. Else it's a fair trek to Glastonbury for the closest specialist
Have u had the car long mate never seen it around in paignton before . Do you know amc motors in preston
Lad who owns it knows his clios used to have the blue turbo one on orange wheels.
I've got a snappy one and it's so nice compared to the original . I've seen another sort done on here and they don't look anywhere near as good they look a bit of a homemade covering slapped on.
Yea it is a long way. Only a train ride tho then an awesome drive home once its done. Thinking of doing mine sometime soon as due cam belt in a year so may as well do it all together. No turbo clios in the bay at the moment so be good to have a few about for a tear up
For that money you can have the low boost conversion all fitted at clioturbo going by his site and although it takes the fun out of doing it yourself at least you know it's all done properly I keep thinking about doing this myself but it seems like it will work out more expensive to do it...
Nice mods mate . I've got the scenic shifter in mine and fancy tightening it up a bit I wondered what stiff shift model you went for . Mine was made a bit better being packed out with rubber O rings but fancy a bit tighter.
Thanks for any help
Ok cool thanks for the help I'll have to wait till I get home in a few days and do it on my comp as can't get anything to work on the phone . Guess I could email them that part number
