Post Silverstone Repairs:
So after getting our best result at Silverstone last weekend, we had a few issues to sort out.
We finished the race with:
Noise from the clutch
Crunching gearbox
Starter that wouldn’t work
Engine was getting too hot
Demister switch not working
Cutting out...
expensive cars, built for 20min races with big budgets to run them. Loads of custom made parts. Running them on a clubmans budget, running parts beyond their designed life and doing longer races, its not surprising they give a bit of trouble from time to time. Hope you got deep pockets.
I think...
I have this disscusion regualrly with my customers. Are you sure that 4 bulbs failed at the same time? did you check them all before?
Whats not working exactly?
Re: James/BigAsh 182 Race Car by TDF... It doesn't get much better than this! *Pic He
No but another competitor could lodge a protest. Its called cheating. Rules say original engine and box so thats what you run. There are only a few rules and thats one of them
Yes I am aware of that..
We were running stock rail then yes.
Now we have different rail and reg but still using 2 lines as it was easier to install it to what was there. One day i'll go down to 1 line and put the reg in the wheel well. for now it works so it stays, more important things to do...
