All footage captured in-game? I’d love to know the hardware specs on that.
Looks like they have the A6 Intruder on there too - not seen that in many flight games at all, though there was the old ‘Flight of the Intruder’ game from years back...
Good stuff. I’ll message him and bob over in the New Year and have a chat. In a way it’s a shame I’m still working from home as being back in the office on Shadsworth would make him much closer. I’ve only been back in there three times since March 2020.
@MRBILLYUK - as you're local to me, I'd love the details of the place you used, if you don't mind?
I need both side arches doing as well as the usual petrol filler cap area.
Cheers!
Chatting to a mate of mine regarding the drop rates of the older kit. As I'm trying to hoover up new kit purely for the MR increases that it will give me, I've been looking at some of the old vanilla Warframes that are more or less discarded by the masses now.
Take Equinox. I bought her Prime...
I'll keep on repeating this until wireless genuinely becomes superior. Yes, cables are a pain - they are unsightly, need to be hidden ideally, not always practical to run between rooms - yet they are cheap as chips when you make your own and piss all over wireless in terms of performance...
Still plugging away at this - more so now for the 100% completion with the Steam achievements.
I've got 9 left - 5 of which are mastery rank increases from my current 25 to the max 30. The remaining four are all doable, but the "1 million metres travelled on a K-Drive" is soul destroying...
So, after owning various PCs over 29 years and working in IT for the last 24 of those - I recently tried using a monitor in portrait mode. O...M...G.
This was purely through necessity - in having three work monitors at home on a fairly short desk. But now that I've done this - I'm finding it to...
Good to hear!
The amount of 'it will fail because it's French' stuff you read online is kind of negated by posts like this.
Of course, all makes and models of cars have bad traits and the Clio isn't exempt from that. But for the majority of the time, they certainly don't deserve the social...
Must have been lucky - that said, I'm sure I made it to around 110k before the first breakage - probably just an age thing.
When the genuine Renault replacement itself went (offside shaft again) - I was literally pulling out of a junction in first gear when it went.
I'm massively sympathetic...
Where you leave the car also matters. For the last several years in the underground car-parking at the apartments, I never had an issue. Now that it's parked outside again, I find that I'm using the AC more than I ever did back there.
As you say though - how many people leg it to their cars...
The No.1 reason why I'm not bothering upgrading from my i7 6700k system. Why get a new mobo, CPU and memory when realistically, I'll be stuck with my GTX1080 card? In fact, my 1080 is the longest serving GPU I've had in nearly 30 years of owning PCs - entering its sixth year of use now.
I don't...
Welcome aboard!
The 1*2s are a great track car - but it appears that you've been the unlucky victim of one of their weaknesses. Driveshafts have never been their strong point and it really can be a lottery as to if/when/how they fail.
The other area that they benefit from attention to -...
I guess it is a balancing act with progression. I recall in GT2 (?) that I did a 30 minute endurance race and was awarded a DENSO Supra.
It actually ruined the game for me as this thing would pretty much trounce anything else in an eligible category.
Isn't that for fear of players not being rewarded enough though? These days achievement and unlock progression have ingrained newer players to some bizarre type of instant gratification.
I'm with you - work for the damn things. Gran Turismo 1 gave me $10k and my first clapped-out Supra. "Eeee -...
The symptoms I had above were the same when it turned out to be the upstream oxygen sensor that had packed in.
Occasional EML - no obvious issues with performance, stunk of fuel and tailpipes that looked like a VAG diesel test.
Got it swapped and all was good.
Never really consider power tools being any different between the brands - but how wrong was I?
Had a bobby-basic Draper drill/screwdriver that has been great with flat-pack stuff, but not much else. Did a bit of DIY work last week that including drilling into walls and borrowed a Milwaukee set...
Would genuinely be interested in seeing the difference between the 144hz monitor I have and a 240hz unit.
The step up from 60hz to 144hz is really noticeable - but I wonder if beyond that, it's a rate of diminishing returns?
I reinstalled BF1 on a whim, purely to have another dabble at the excellent campaign mode, which I found much more enjoyable than that of BFV.
Seems strange that my PC takes a massive performance hit if I set it to run in DX12 and not DX11. Literally unplayable.
