I'm having a mare with mine too, noisy as and my auto function would wipe 3-4 times quickly then stop for a while then go again. I'm going to take the wipers off at the weekend and also try and clean the auto wiper sensor.

I'll swap you for my alloy one if you want. I want to quiet mine down a bit.

What do they get torqued too? I've one to fit at the weekend.

Mine's an early 2002 172 and it has the full undertray. I'm guessing someone has left yours off, I only ask as that could be a mounting point that you pointed out. I'll jack mine up when I get back from work and take a pic for you.

My Fatty with the metal ASH pipe and large Ramair filter sounds ridiculous. I'm tempted to replace it with a standard airbox. What's this bit called? I tried searching on eBay with no luck.

The handle of my 172 wouldn't screw in properly, so I tried a self tapper with a slightly coarser thread. When I went to screw it in, the plastic nut/thing the screw goes into snapped off and fell into the door. Any idea how I could fix this? The handles now completely hanging off. Cheers.

I'll be tackling those in a few days when I see how these hold up. I really want to do the radio and climate control but it would ruin them. The passenger side needs done again as there's a few bits I've missed. You only really notice it when they're dry.
