Mine popped out of the wishbone on my way to the MoT station only a few miles after I'd fitted them.
I guess some peoples are tighter than others with mass production tolerances. But I'd get them welded.
I remember changing a boot lid once and noted that it was mega heavy. That was with wiper motor + glass.
At 100 quid each they sound a bargain. Look forward to seeing them fitted.
Mine never has any trouble with the KTR sports cat. I must have had it on at least 3 years now.
I wouldn't worry about the lambda. If the light hasn't come on after a few hundred miles it probably won't. My light never came on even with a decat.

Chip did you switch to 172 cup track rods?
Reason I ask is I need new track rods but the cup ones are about 16mm longer and are Renault only.
But if you didn't switch track rods I guess you must be in the same situation as if I fitted non genuine non cup track rods.

In the MSA blue book there are two lists of tyres 1A and 1B. 1B being better than 1A. The AD08s are generally regarded as the best list 1A tyre. The R1Rs are in list 1B so you'd expect them to have better ultimate grip.
I've used AD08s in the wet and dry and they're good tyres.
