I have removed the front foglights but when I did a bulb check the other night the rear foglight does not come on.
The dashlight does not come on and no relay can be heard (I assume there is one to hear)
Any ideas anyone. Havent checked fuse as yet but any other ideas if its not that

Few pictures of the current stage, got the exterior looking more or less how I wanted bar more carbon fibre.....
Got harnesses on the way and just need to sort a bolt in cage for track so can mount the harnesses to as well.

Well got an oil collector pot fitted. Unfortunately the paintjob looked nothing like the pic so rubbed it down and repainted it. I mounted it in its current position for quickness but will need to orientate it 90 degree once another location tab has been welded on.

As said above it was to get a base printout before adding anything else to boost power. Then can see what has been added/lost regradless of original figure.
All being well can put a better graph up in a fortnight from a Dyno Dynamics rolling road.
Also - book power for a Focus RS mk2 is 301bhp...
It may well be reading high but as said above it was mainly to get a before run for when the cams go in along with matched inlets (the inlets may already be matched after chatting to previous owner) and a map.
Not sure on the engine power calculation as never bothered asking even though used...
I dont think its that much out mind haha - standard Focus RS's on these rollers run around 290-305bhp and they book at 301bhp
More interested in getting a starting point then when I add mods I can take it here again and compare

After owning the car for around 5-6 weeks I thought it was time for a rolling road session to see where I was at with the car.
The car came with the V6 airbox complete with Pipercross filter and a Janspeed catback exhaust.

Well today had the day at MB Motorsport with Mich, Frankie and Mark who work there.
Got all the jobs I wanted done as well.

H&R rear suspension fitted, strut brace for my camera mount, cables tidied up and it looks alot better;
Hoping to book a day on track next month to give the car its first proper shakedown
Got a new gearbox bracket sorted as mine has a hairline crack through it...
Wow - thanks for all the comments. Been to look at another 172 today as quite tempted to get the Girlfriend one as well.
Playing around with some of the pics in photoshop before a lovely 12 hour nightshift, will pop some up if get a chance

Finally got around to getting some pics since replacing the Ktec coilovers with H&R units and also added Pure Motorsport top mounts, Pure Motorsport strut brace and rear strut brace, also got my Turini's on in a custom grey mix.
Loads still to do but here...
So I dropped a full set of Turini wheels off at SEM in Sunderland for a full refurb and painted in a custom grey mix;
I also got the Ktec coilovers off along with the Renault top mounts.
In their place was H&R coilovers with Pure Motorsport top mounts and matches strut brace;

- Install BMW remote positive terminal in engine bay
- Make up 5m positive cable
- Make up 1m neutral cable
- Mount ECU horizontally
- Mount V6 airbox straight onto throttle body

Trying to do a few bits on the car - struggling with time as lost a family member and have another very poorly at present so just trying to keep busy when I can.

I am not warming to the Ktec Coilovers - so I have sourced a good set of H&R coilovers and the Ktec's will be up for sale.
Also ordered Carbon bullets, Pure Motorsport top mounts and strut brace, replacement rear side bump strip, 182 manifold, Ktec link...
So far the mount is performing brilliantly but is comfier than the ST was with the Vibratechnics mount haha

Cheers for the comments - I wasnt sold on the colour initially as it hadnt been cleaned very well by the garage where it was bought.
I have snowfoamed it, lime primed, clay barred, 2 bucket wash and then a full polish session by hand then 2 layers of wax and 1 of glaze to get a lovely shine...
