Or see if someone who's breaking a car will sell some but they may be in poor condition although the ones inside the boot will not have been in the elements so use those with yours.
Hi if you put the genuine part number in micksgarage that should fine the right replacements but when you look at the length they are 295mm and need to be 320mm.
Hopefully @renaultpartsdirect can clear it up.
Yes this was from Blackpool, you bought the other one I was after on ebay !
Will let you know on track rods I think I found the right ones on micksgarage but have cancelled my order.
I have just emailed to cancel them anyway so hopefully its quick enough.
Let me know tomorrow, message or text me and we can sort out meeting up.
Cheers for your help
Where from ? just tried micksgarage but can't find the right part they are 320mm from end of thread to the face that goes on the rack.
Doing my head in lol
Looks good I have recently bought a cup and spent a few £££ already refreshing the suspension tre, inner arms, pads, top mounts dampers, rear discs and pads and it soon mounts up lol
Just read this all the way through, its a very nice build ! also noticed your reg is BG52... mine is BG52... just need a few £££ and an RS2 Pms exhaust and I could build a replica !
Not much going on here due to ECP! ordered some inner track rods and gaitors and a brake fitting kit.The delivery arrived today and when I picked the box up thought it was light ! opened it to find No inner track rods just a note saying to follow wtf! I assume they are on back order.
No probs...
Just a small thread bump, what do you recommend for cleaning the plastics with ? as mine especially the door handles around the window switches are a bit "gooey"
I would love to do the Mull rally, always planned to do it years back but never quite came off. Swap yours for mine and I can do it this year :tongueclosed:
I know, hoping a few may turnout with the new class structure. I simply do not have the cash to build a car that would be at the front. I will refresh all the suspension brakes etc and build towards 1B next year. I plan to do a full championship so being out there is better than sitting events...
No cant change springs you could put uprated non adjustable dampers on but not seen next years regs yet so may have removed them.
Only thing to change is brake pads, remove airbags fit bucket seats and cage etc. Obviously the weight penalty of a cage is no good unless you plan on going into...
Then as it was getting dark I moved on to the rear discs. I bought new spacers as the originals were missing , I've ordered a new brake fitting kit that's not arrived in time so just assembled the near side for now.
Think that's it for this year so Happy new year to anyone who's bored enough to...
So second time around correctly built up and fitted ! Even managed without spring compressors to fit them back to the arms. Need a couple of new bolts as the top ones are passed their best.
Managed a couple of hours today so fitted the front dampers and springs with new top bearings and bump rubbers.
Note the obvious mistake on first fit lol
So on to the front, I removed the wheels, hub bolts and removed the track rods ends to find some play in the inner steering arms ! so now I need to replace those as well as the top mounts, TRE and bottom ball joints. Its starting to add up the ££ already.
There seems to be no definitive answer...
