I have to say i've not once regretted choosing the PS4 over the XBone. BF4 gets better I find once more weapons and upgrades are unlocked - i'm still f**king sh*t though (160 points per minute).

I've got a few on their way : TDK trilogy Lord of the Rings trilogy Only God Forgives N0ddie - I've never had the inclination to watch Avatar - it just doesn't appeal to me :S Tempted to take a punt on The Hobbit.

Yep, got the Astro A50s - work perfectly for both in game audio and voice and you can adjust the prominence of both on the ear cup, along with 3 EQ settings for multiplayer, single player and media. Very happy with them overall.

As, seen as you're so interested, i'll be adding a Denon 3313 blu-ray player, and a Denon 4520 receiver. The new receiver will enable my PS3 and PS4 to be linked via HDMI, whereas the old Arcam only enables Optical audio connection and HDMI passthrough. Any other issues? Also heading to Richer...

But my HDMI connections are going to increase, along with additional optical, so really not worth it. In 4 weeks it'll all be sorted :)

Seriously if you're that unimpressed why not give the XBOne a try instead? You may prefer the integration and 'Xbox on'.

I've kept the PS3 as my primary streaming device, doesn't take up much space (also still yet to play Last of Us and GTA V), as the TV has 4 HDMIs so no issue with lack of connectivity.

There are so many devices you can stream from / to nowadays it's a wonder people are so annoyed about this :S (I was initially until I really thought about it). Games machine first and foremost. If you want a media centre with a slightly inferior games machine included go for an XBOne.

Until all the equipment's in place it's not worth routing the wires. Keeping a close eye on OLED prices and stability in 2014.
