Re: PS4 pre-order My apologies, you did indeed. All I was offering was a place for some clarification over certain questions regarding PSN / Controller / initial feedback on games etc - that's all. I'm fully expecting the actual failure rate to be well above the 0.4% quoted, probably about 1%...

What do you expect from a launch title though? I mean KZ games of old haven't exactly been critics favourites. With Naughty Dog on board, I have high hopes that the PS4 will have some stellar titles. So basically the 7.5 score is because of a lack of launch titles for a purists console, and...

In all honesty I think it'll be re-introduced as an update on launch anyway. Much like the lack of 3D playback on the 720.....

Lol. Killzone. Bar Forza the 720's pretty sparse tbf. 2014's the year for good titles. Just wondered why so many people are hung up on lack of DLNA when TV's / Phones / Tablets / Laptops / MP4 players etc all do the same, so plenty of other options to stream.

The speakers seem a little underwhelming in relation to the screen - also placed too high? Thought ear height was the ideal (though I may be wrong). What projector are you running it with? (if you haven't already mentioned).

^ I still think the resolution difference, especially on a reference level TV will be very noticeable, and more noticeable as the developers get to grasp with the new systems tbh.

Cheers guys. Price is a bit of an issue but i'll be buying it him for Christmas either way. It'll only be the 16gb as he can then transfer any documents over to his MPB. I think the Air is the one to go for tbf, identical stats but far more screen real estate on the Air.

My dad's trying to decide between an Ipad Mini Retina and Ipad Air for use when at college (lecturer and external verifier), I think the Air will be more useable when using the keyboard and screen real estate - what do you guys think? Can't compare models yet due to the rMini not yet being...

Re: PS4 pre-order Well i've cancelled my PS4 pre-order, mainly due to the fact I want to wait and see the initial reviews between them when released. Plus XBL was / is a much more polished online experience.
