Yeah top dash has to come off the get to the dials and clock display then remove radio to undo 2 torx then angle the heater panel out.
Give it a go :-)
I'll need a set of dials to do the guide with lol.
The guides on here are sufficient enough to understand what needs to be done richy22 I think did a guide and another for the rest of the interior, they helped me :-).
Should be fairly straight forward, your stereo is update list with it being 05? Just that this may change the way the center LCD is lit either 2 T5 again or a little pcb board like this.
For a couple hundred I'll come to you haha.
What do you want from the kit i.e. what lights do you want to...
Haha can do!
Do you have climate control too? They need loads of SMDs, like around 20.
Normal heater panels need to have a filter removed from inside then change 2 T5 'dashboard' bulbs then bingo.
I have done the dash conversion myself, never buy a kit they're overpriced.
LCDs normally have a filter but these don't you just need to change the SMDs to your preferred colour and they take on that colour.
Try searching for led dash conversion. There's also a video on YouTube :-)
I went from an S2 to the HTC One I'm pretty impressed, I rooted my S2 but haven't done with this it's very good!
Just fancied something with a better design with no plastic and better quality.
Yes, I used them last year.
When my car was written off I had the money in my bank account within 5 days of the accident. Everything is done through their site unless you're reporting an accident.
I'd use them again, but they increased my premium and didn't want to match competitors.

Here's my progress so far.
I need to source a stronger gas strut as 150NM is just strong enough. The 106 strut has the perfect length + extension.
Temperature controlled soldering iron and a stopwatch lol.
Too much heat for too long - frazzled smd.
Too little heat and little time you risk damaging the contacts on the pcb.
Yeah that's much easier you just have to bend the legs of the smd as they shine through a hole. They use plcc-2
Lol it's not too hard just need good equipment :-)
The radio is a little bit harder than normal you'll need 4 PLCC-4. For the heater panel you'll need T5 'Dashboard LEDs' although you'll have to remove the panel as there is an orange light filter so you'll need to remove that.
If it's not the same as this then you'll need 2 more T5 LEDs.
I would personally not buy the kit as it's overpriced. Just purchase what you need.
With the center LCD you need 4 PLCC-4 3254 SMD in the colour of your choice then 4 PLCC-2 3254 for the dials.
For all other MK2 dials you'll need 10 PLCC-2 3254.
