that is the best thing i have read on here for a while mate... personally i love the rat look. getting it right is an art but if done right will look the shizz.. game on!
i love these threads.... always something new and different... i wouldn't have even tried against one of them in my cup.(i'd be looking the other way at the lights lol)
mine always read high.... used to say i was doing 36 when giving it the beans 43 at 70 on the motorway.... the display lies.... work out how many miles you do to a full tank.
just tried that myself.... oh my god he's right i was talking kack all along... i may remove the button from my dashboard and solder the wires permanently as it couldn't of possibly helped me get up the hill home by turning it off the last couple of days...
it's a bit eek when the computer tells you something different lol i wonder how many people are under the illusion that their cars are doing really well on fuel before they work it out...
not always. i found in the bmw that it was better to use more power in some instances as you have to.. where as the dsc was cutting the power to the wheel that slipped hence pulling me across the camber towards the kerb...if i gave it a little more it would find grip. i'm not disputing that esp...
it will open up a bit... on the clio mpg fron i worked out i averaged about 27-28 eek. no wonder 25k a year was costing loads and as for the diagnostic thing you shouldnt really have to go to that length to calculate mpg surely
the mpg gauge lies on the 172 cup i know that... £45 a tank and 280 miles.... how does that work out at 38 mpg? and the mondeos had a bad patch where there was the wrong ecu fitted iirc
sounds about right. is it low miles? and/or is he not used to driving diesels. its taken a couple of months for me to get used to driving it to its best ability
