was £50 a week in the 172. 30 miles round trip a day and playtime. but still only 230-250 miles to a tank.
now spend £55 every 2 weeks or less... and get 650-700 miles to a tank.
no have you ever driven a car with a heavy paddle clutch? hard to get a bite. either on or off until you get very used to it. and i expect the main reason for doing it is to make the speed obvious in the video
half the project threads on here look crap as they are, but people are willing to picture the finished article and post positive comments. why is this any different.. he hasn't once said how amazing it looks in its current state.
evidently i am stupid! i am humbled and apologetic. you are obviously right and i am wrong. however. he has clearly stated his plans. and people still have a go. whats the point? i expect your car looks s**t but you're still on here flappin!
how can people comment on a car that is unfinished like that... he's said he's after a 172 rear bumper, and once that is on the car will look pretty decent. can't argue that.. and as for posting piccys of your own cars (no one wants to) what have you all got to hide?
lovely wheelbarrow you have there! lol
joke. people have to accept that some of us don't like the two exhausts. agreed i'd have just got a 172 first off
gets my vote...i have to agree that i dont like the rear end of the 182... bit of a chav fest with the two wheel barrow handles. think it will look all the better for puttin the 172 bumper on it. fair play to you. and the haters can go elsewhere. just if you are going to do it do it properly.
i looked after mine religiously but had a fair few issues with covering 25k in a year. i'm not saying they aren't reliable as it didn't miss a beat and i have seen many on here sail through the miles. suffer mainly with wear and tear but the costs add up. finally got rid of it when a big head...
not necessarily all the time... as the clutch release bearing is only engaged when you press the clutch. also called thrust bearing sometimes, as said above very common fault. and i wouldnt listen to anything a reno employee says (no offence) but the only work from a build manual.
