Hi Tidy! :) Here is some...
http://search.ebay.co.uk/search/search.dll?from=R40&satitle=auto+engine+cleaner
I have a better range than that lot now..lol... i just wanted to show off the rusty shower rack! :D
P21s is my fave car polish.
I know what u mean about the trailered cars.. even tho I'm getting this as clean as poss... its used (dry use). I wont even be keeping it garaged over the winter. Long as theres not a storm outside.. I'll boost around in it. Some of the trailered cars are stunning.. but shame they are not...
Thanks :) it will be 18 years old shortly.. so a party will be in order.. :D
I will eventually have it close to that standard... I still have some work under the wheel arches...but almost finished those bits. Even tho.. most of it is new (wishbones, poly bushes, suspension, brake kit) Still...
Tim... Thanks. I know a few people have said this to me... but I can never remember who asked.. I might one day, but it will be a long time yet as its part of the family. I have everything mapped out on paper left to do now so I can visualise how its going to look when its all finished :)...
Well done with the all the good work your doing :) I love seeing this kind of thing, looks stunning :) The Fiesta RST was the 1st car I really went mental spending silly money on.. this thread brings back some real good and bad memories... and good luck to you with it! :D
I didnt have a...
Surprisingly... where I worked they had those massive coffin type speed ramps :S but as long as I went slowly and at an angle it would clear them ok.
Justin, down south/east way. It will be alive and kicking after the winter.
Like this one? This was my last one... just as u described.. I dont like them as low these days tho :) but this red 5 was the fastest car I have ever been in.. let alone own. It would make my old Clio V6 look silly. I used to get out sweating and shaking! scared the crap out of me! lol.
Thanks mate. Its still an ongoing project so at the moment its running sensible power whilst things are being done but still quick for the road, a few bits have been done since the last RR... so its around 200bhp and looking to increase that with a few latest parts being done and setting up...
Cheers :)
Jay, same here.. i love 'em, normally I buy a car and lose interest after a few months or a year, but the 5gtt is one I still have the same feelings for that I did when I first ever saw one... and the boost is seriously addictive fun! :D I dont think I'll ever sell it :) But good...
hi Craig, You'll love every minute of the V6 :D since I bought the Tungsten 5 a few years ago... I think theres only about 2 parts that are still the original bits!! :D Just the side glass has been kept but still replaced the window clips, seals and hinges! lol.. I think i've replaced just about...
I know what u mean.. :) I only had adj Konis put on begging of this year but they are just a bit too soft, but GAZ company are based just down the road from me... and we were going to try various spring rates and set ups to get it right when I'm ready, if i dont like them i'll put the Konis back on.
When I got another 5, I just wanted a car to strip out and use for having fun up the drag strip.. its turned into a bit more than that now tho. I will take it for qtr mile runs tho when its done for fun.. something I've wanted to do for a while.
It gets used at the weekends and dry use.
I bought these to go in...Cobra Misanos, they looked really nice seats, but didnt realise how heavy they were going to be, so changed my mind. The problem with the weight was because they were reclinders.. which weigh twice as much as fixed bucket seats.
Hi Ali, thanks mate.. I started the project with the idea of having it featured one day, so maybe next summer sometime will be roughly when the car will be completed.. I would quite like to have it featured in a modified Retro car mag.. just have to see what happens. :)
Well... its 2 totally different cars, and I sold the Petrol Blue a few weeks ago. The 182 was a go anywhere anytime kind of car.. the 5 is just a grin everytime you get in it.. its a bit more hardcore as u can imagine, I dont even have a stereo! No luxuries in there! But thats what its all...
