I must admit I had Pearl white for a couple of years... (this is my 5th 5gtt) when I polished that thing it sparkled so many colours in the sun.. purples and blues in the paint! people that didnt give a s**t about cars used to just admire that thing. :cool: good call mate :)

Finally got the seats in... they look as well as I hoped for and happy with 'em :) (2nd time lucky with the mounts). The difference from the standard bouncy cotton seats is in a different league now.. :D not sure about harnesses? I know they look cool.. but this will be road use, do I...

Dan, I think they were around 120bhp, back in the 80's.. that was a nippy hot hatch 7.5 secs 0-60 :)

I started out wanting to ring out as much power as i could.. but gone for reliabilty over a tyre shredder! and just lightend the car up to under 800kg :) Yet to have it set up on the rollers since the rebuild.. but here are a few of the bits I can think of.. BB Gen 4 T25 Turbo Braided oil Feed...

They are GT3 replica's .. really top quality and super light.. I did get to test for them... but fooked up my measurements so need the mounts re-fab'd. Thanks for the cool replies! Cant wait to get the rest finished off... with the flooring/seats.. unsure about a black safety devices...

Thanks! I had to get the seat mounts re-fabricated.. so delayed fitting at the mo. So instead... I gave the engine its 1st proper tidy up today for 08.. I've sort of come to a decsion... that I cant be assed to do anymore to the engine! I have a box of stuff I was going...

I saw this at BB a few years ago and it was super clean... and the dash is what struck me as taking some serious work.. not to my own taste but high quality I wasnt expecting it to have cost quite that much tho.. :D

I raced one (knowing I had a chance in hell) in my slightly tuned V6 lol (be it the MK1) and before I could say 'HOLY F*CK' it had disappeared into the distance! Blindingly quick :eek:

Yes mate... they are 238mm I think... the reason I wanted them that size was so I could still put the speedlines on if the mood took me. But I have been enquiring about some nice Wilwood 4 pots so may go for bigger disks with those.

They are super light .. I have bought 5 sets of seats so far! (seriously lol)... then change my mind.. either too heavy or too uncomfortable but after a test fit these ones are just right.
