Has anyone found where it is now, as I might be able to, or at least where it went after Renault moved it on.
There's a few of the Moonlight blue here. http://www.flickr.com/photos/rodstreet/sets/72157606448717370/
That was when Sally at Renault had the car. She's not at Renault anymore. The paint finish was really bad.

They have stalks which stick out. The balls come out all the time causing them to leak though. If there aren't stalks and it's not a cup, then someone has added blanks.
They should look like this.

Well that was a pretty awesome afternoons racing. I can't lift my arms now. :o
I was pretty pleased with my 3rd place Quali time, and the first race was probably one of the best races I've ever had. Constantly swapping places with my mate Mark. Then a lap from the end we rounded a corner to be...
You must have misread what he's asked. He asked why they make them without the legal stuff on. You can specify everything legal, but without the makers postcode and BS data, that makes them show plates and an MOT fail.
I remember Stunt Race FX, as we were working on two Super FX games at the time:
Dirt Racer
And Powerslide:
Both were s**t of course.
I remember spending hours playing Pinball Dreams on the Amiga too. Awesome intro music.
Classic controllers there too. I've still got my Competition Pro 5000 along with one of my Amigas. I've still got my old Coleco Vision in the loft too.
We spent many a lunch time playing Sensi on the SNES when I was at Elite. I was in QA during the end of the NES era, through 16 bit and in...
I bought new 100% legal plates for mine from Fancyplates a few weeks back. The Fancyplates logo and legal crap is nice and small, and I've no longer got a massive dealer advert or crappy blue flag on them!

I've got the hi res shots off the old press site. If you pm me your email address I'll fire the over when I next turn my PC on.
The press fleet get well looked after, and well used. I'd say it's safe to say that you own what was the first 197 Cup registered in the UK.
I've just checked, I've...
Don, just wanted to confirm I'll be there with my mate from work, who also happens to be a CS member! Do I need to call and pay a deposit or anything?
He's just asked me for the videos from when we went last month. Lol
Edit: just realised it's a different track. Doh.
Very nice Guy.
That's an ex press car. It was used for the early press shots. It's got the cup suspension, obviously as it's a Cup, but the callipers were the wrong colour. There's loads of photos of it about.

I thought it was his too when he tweeted. I thought he had picked up an ex press car, but it's still on the press fleet.
I remember doing a track day with Dan Trent, he gave a 197 press car so much stick it needed tyres before it could leave the track.
I loved my 197 Cup. You'll probably find it heavy compared to the 172 Cup though, but way more fun to drive than the Leon.
They all have Brembos, red if the car has the Cup chassis.
Common faults seem to be gearbox related, usually synchro issues.
Belts are at 72k and it's an expensive...
In order to balance out the Twizy content, Chris thrashes one of Renaults press cars for the last few minutes of the video. :approve:

Thought this would have already been posted, it probably has, but searching Harris or Twizy didn't find it!
Re: Ultra Red 200 ordered.
It doesn't know you want to be cruising, it just tells you which is the optimal gear for thrashing the arse off it. I've had people in stiches with it, they can't believe it's usually suggesting 2 - 3 gears lower than I'm in when pottering about.
Sat in the traffic jam on the Hagley road, passing the new Morrisons they're currently constructing. Around 6.28 this evening!
I was watching the building site!!
