Very nice. I agree about keeping those wheels on it. When I had the Cup I went for the standard wheels as I didn't think the speedlines suited it. There's nothing for them to contrast with in black either.
The standard cup pedals are rubbish, you need clown feet to be able to heal and toe...
I'd go glacier too. Champ white really pretty cream, it's a very warm white
I used to park my Cup next to a mates white FD2, and the Cup really made it look cream.
Its hard to tell in the bad light though...
That sits really well, great looking car. Looks like a lot of time and effort has gone in to that. Not entirely convinced about the colour of them, but the wheels look spot on.
Did you add the RS Monitor or can you spec them on the GT?
Me too. It's easier with Renaultsport Clios as nothing comes close to the fun for the money, so they're a tough act to follow. I kept my 197 4 years, which is a long time for me.
15 is pretty much on the button for a 1*2. A few freaks ran low 14s standard (paddy IIRC), but most sit pretty much at 15. Stripped out Cups were getting low 14s. Best I ever got out of my 172 was 14.9, and I never bettered it in the 182. I didn't ever run the Trophy or 197.
I was behind one on the M6 a few weeks back. I was giving one of the lads from work a lift and he commented on how the wheels were actually out wider than the top of the body of the car.
I can't argue with that g@z. It's not got that 'one last look over my shoulder' nose that the Cup had, but...
As you know. I owned 3 of the buggers, and it was only the trophy that got attention, mainly down to the colour and the stickers. Most people look at the 200, especially from the rear and say 'f**k me that's wide'. Got a proper fat arse.
I was actually going to get an UR one, but this one grabbed me. After then Cup being white, the Trophy Red and 182 blue I'd had 3 brighter cars. I don't like LY too much, but I do like AG, just not on my car. Attention when driving through Birmingham isn't always a good thing. Lol.
I'll see...
The front is odd, from some angles it looks fantastic, from others it looks a bit soft. It's certainly lost the presence the 197 had, but the 197 was starting to look dated, which other than the fact the 200 is a much better drive, was one of the reason I changed.
LOL at subtle. The 1*2s were...
I'm sure I read somewhere that the wee lad has an UR 200 on order, but I'm not entirely sure TBH. Either way, he seems to be wanting to see pictures of nicely loaded 200s, so I ran an oily rag over mine today and took a few pictures. Any excuse. :o
I know, the centre caps are still...
