Basically, to swap the release bearing you have to take the gearbox off. While that's off, you might as well swap the clutch for the extra £80 or so. It's no more labour usually. Unless it's been done in...
Well, nothing really to update!
I've been to Le Mans and been crazy busy working on Clio's. haven't spent more than half hour on the E30 for a while.
Good news is that it started first turn of the key after being abandoned for a month.
Rev counter has stopped working though randomly!

So, been ages since I've updated both of my threads.
In short, I've done 5-6k properly abusive miles in the car as it's lapped it all up.
We went on a trip to Le Mans where the car got a little bit dirty and painted on:

All you need is someone who already has a couple/loves these and wants it done. It can be done.
I agree though, it'll never be the same as if it rolled off the line.
It might even be better lol
