    How long to change alternator?

Bumper off is just as simple as removing the grill. Actually, I'd say easier.

Racelands aren't amazing on track really. Bit too soft. Other than that, bloody bargain!

    Fast road, Semi track car.

Staying true? Eff that, Cheaper tyres. Drives nicer. Plenty more options available. Don't understand why anyone would run 16's.

Something squeaking when clutch pressed in [video included]

Re: Something squeaking when clutch pressed in Yeah, that's just an updated clutch cable. Not too tricky to change, especially when the box is out.

Something squeaking when clutch pressed in [video included]

Re: Something squeaking when clutch pressed in Yeah, you can. Less than £20 from ECP. Basically, to swap the release bearing you have to take the gearbox off. While that's off, you might as well swap the clutch for the extra £80 or so. It's no more labour usually. Unless it's been done in...

    BMW E30 325i Project

Well, nothing really to update! I've been to Le Mans and been crazy busy working on Clio's. haven't spent more than half hour on the E30 for a while. Good news is that it started first turn of the key after being abandoned for a month. Rev counter has stopped working though randomly! Also...

Back in a Clio. Another Failsport purchase.

So, been ages since I've updated both of my threads. In short, I've done 5-6k properly abusive miles in the car as it's lapped it all up. We went on a trip to Le Mans where the car got a little bit dirty and painted on: After a brief evening of rallying: And how it cleaned up...

2002 clio sport wont start HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good point. If it's a Ph1, there's a red button in the top right of the engine bay by the coolant header tank and the Pas reservoir. Give that a push.

    Anyone handy with a welder?

Don't you believe it. All you need is someone who already has a couple/loves these and wants it done. It can be done. I agree though, it'll never be the same as if it rolled off the line. It might even be better lol

    How long to change alternator?

Yep. Sounds a bit of an excuse to me. At a guess, I'd say an hour and a half's work.
