Re: 'Cub's Trackday Flamer - Cage etc'
Corona and BBQ Chicken day?
I reckon we'll have the old engine out by midday, so we can pop to Tesco and get some chicken for the BBQ. Want me to bring the oil drum to feed everyone?
Yep, not bled properly.
Do another bleed. While doing it, set the heater to hot on the highest setting and squeeze the matrix pipes by hand a couple of times. Won't take long before it fixes it.
Quickest way of bleeding is to remove the bleed screw on the housing, then fill up coolant until it's coming out of the screw.
Is possible to just full it up, run until the thermostat opens then chuck some more in though.
Re: Cub 172's Flamer Project
Such a nice change to work somewhere warm and dry.
Lol! Honestly, that's the extent of Nick's effort. He'll give you some bullshit about being 'project director' or something, but he's just plain lazy. ;)
It's used to help centre the clutch with the alignment tool.
If you want to do it, tap it into the recess in the middle of the flywheel
I never bother though anymore. More hassle than it's worth.
