Mine was broke and didn't work when I got mine. One of the wires had come unsoldered-isn't a huge issue if it is 'just' the stalk. A new one can be had for about £15 if that's all that's wrong.

They look real nice and as you say no biggie if you're planning on outing the rear anyway. My mates cup was a fair bit noisier without all the rear carpets/sound deadening in-have you made a comparison to check it won't do your head in if its your daily fella?

Enjoy your new car-the clio's are pretty robust if you stick to the service intervals and don't hammer them to death every time you drive it. Make sure you do the cam belts when they're up too-expensive bill if that goes wrong :S
