Yeah it was lowered on eibach pro's not a massive difference but its noticeable and the ride improved, no they are both diesel, we went for the more economical approach before we moved to the RS's

I couldn't disagree more, after recently putting braided hoses on along with ds2500, I was quite frankly shocked at how good they are, very eager bite and always there the second you stamp on, late brake etc, night and day over the original set up
Superb for the road, never used on track so...
Haven't updated this for a while but done a couple of things
put two new Bridgestone RE050A's on the front along with Mr Pinks Brake Pins, Ferodo DS2500, Red Goodridge Stainless Brake Lines and Motul RBF600 Brake Fluid, which has completely transformed the brakes as i was losing faith in them...
i had this problem on my first mk3, but i was in the petrol station, i just slid the painted fuel cap off and pushed the solenoid up with my finger real pain in the arse but sound it was easier than stripping half the boot out in a carpark some where
Cheers Mate, Always hold out for the one you really want, will be worth it, you don't want to rush in to buying a RS, you will enjoy it more :) good luck finding one

Had the Carbon Fibre Front End Kit and Carbon Mirrors wrapped with 3M Venture Shield by John at Autoshield Protection Ltd, i am very impressed with his work but also the product, which almost seems bulletproof and fits very neatly, highly recommend the kit,
There is also a Matt Paint Shield...
it may be possible to get it programmed in, but may look abit daft as it would flash while you are at 3750 rpm as thats where the boost runs out, so you dont get a proper red line shift
