if not using genuine pads, i take the sliders out and also file the metal edge that comes into contact with the sliders (track where pad sits) this is usually where they jam up when they get hot, also use copper slip in the sliders, only speaking for my track 182 as i run DS3000 pads and they...

Still can't drive it as I'm getting a Hexis Pro self healing film put over it next week, so it has to just sit there, but i can't wait to get it out for some proper photos and a good drive in it
so after the car had been sat like this for two weeks
I finally got the carbon back and i couldnt believe how good it looked, id forgot how well it suited the car
a new reg to get rid of the stone chipped old one
The carbon literally turned to s**t over a could of weeks, the clear coat must have broken down over the winter with the salt

The first application it seemed to be just what I needed, then I came to remove heavy putting a couple of months later and it all just went...

Normally I just use valet pro snow foam then meguires gold class on the wheels for general cleaning, but it doesn't seem to lift the shite that gets pitted in the...

looked high and low for answers, but have found nothing really conclusive on keeping them clean and protected
This is what happened after...
ive been using ds3000 on the track 182, heard they are equivalent to 1.11 but don't last as long, i have done at least 4 hard track days + a ring trip and they still have plenty of life left, never had a issue, the squeal a little, but never had any fade laps after lap, the r888r's go off before...
What is making funny noises ? The pulleys, the belt, the bracket its self ?
When I fit mine I just go for a 5-10mm of play in the belt, been on a few track days with it now and it has been no issue what so ever
rear washer jet hose split ? that runs right down that side, from under the glove all the way through the plastics unlikely but could explain the stains if you use windscreen washer fluid
