Another vote for the H&R , they make quality springs/spacers . I've supplied a few sets now for various cars, and started stocking them for the RS models
Can also sort the OE dampers etc at same time if not already sorted @seaneylad
As the brakes will be very hot, you can have issues like the pads sticking to the discs. Also in extreme cases, as the discs will cool quicker where the pad is not in contact with it, it can "warp" the discs. Unlikely on a Clio due to the bias of the brakes. But still best practice to leave it...
I can supply brakes for these @Cookie , got them before mate and have the pads on the shelf. Send me a PM and I'll get you sorted
The site will be getting updated regularly from now on (when I get time!) so always worth asking if you can't see the model/parts you're after
Welcome along, looks tidy that
Tuition is well worth the money, especially if first track day. Get it booked for the morning, will help you a lot. I did my first track day at Cadwell in my 172 and didn't kill myself, just build your pace through out the day, and check your mirrors
If the...
If it's going to be a full on track car doing the longer/harder stints, the DS1.11 front pads will be a better choice for you. I have those amongst other brake parts on the shelf. Brake ducting is worthwhile, cheap and effective
I run TRS harnesses, I think a new brand is Turn One which I...
Sticking caliper is been cause for the rear discs to crack, due to the excessive heat
You want to be running the Brembo or Renault rear discs on track, the other makes bearings just don't last on track (I can supply pretty much all the main manufacturers including Mintex) . Especially when...
Check your calipers aren't binding, excessive heat may have caused the crack. But I'd only use plain OE on the rear anyway , get in touch if want a set @Gary Pease
as mentioned, no info on the compounds used etc on their site
some of the civic lads use them as the guy who's' company it is , runs in that championship from what I can gather
Some people are saying these are rebranded ebc pads, again not sure which compounds or if this is true, but they...
I can supply these, have the new UV coated one, Max grooved, and the drilled Xtra on the shelf , with various pads, braided lines, fluids etc etc
Get in touch and I'll get you sorted @finch wxm
Don't deal with mtec @Darren S .
OE Renault or Brembo (if no abs) for the rear discs really due to the better bearings and abs rings fitted. If on a budget Mintex , wouldn't bother with anything else on the rear . Check the washer spacers are present and refitted
That will depend on use of your car, and budget you had in mind @Sparkyp23
I can supply various discs/pads/lines and fluids depending on what you use the car for, from all the leading brands.
Brembo HC front discs, Renault or Brembo rear discs (have better bearings in then the others) , pads...
As per your PM James I think you have issues with your calipers I'm afraid mate . The DS1.11 are one of better wearing pads available
Also most uprated pads for the front of the Clio 172/182 must have vertical play when cold , to allow room to expand when hot , some may need filing to allow...
