Hi, Im 25 years old, Got my Civic Type R Insured with Admiral.

Re: JDM Y0 - My new project - *** Tyre adviced needed - PG19 ***
CPL seem to like Piper stuff.
My mates (Ford Boys) have them on their RS' and ST's and they sound nice!
Any good?
Re: JDM Y0 - My new project - *** Tyre adviced needed - PG19 ***
LOL its bad enough when my old man used to go to work in the Summer Mornings in his 964 Turbo! Turbo Back Performance System starting up in the single garage directly under my bedroom :(
The Toda one sounds nice, but looks...
Re: JDM Y0 - My new project - *** General bits and bobs PG19 ***
is 215/45/17 standard size? Dont the forum suggest changing to something more common cause its a rare expensive size?
Re: JDM Y0 - My new project - *** General bits and bobs PG19 ***
Maybe not then, Im finding the Tegiwa M a little too loud ;;)
God Im getting old :( lol
I only want it to say I own a Genuine Spoon part lol. Same Reason I spent £17 on a Genuine Mugen Resevoir Sock :D lol
I genuinely wasnt aware a motoring journalist (with the exception of the Top Gear/Fifth Gear lot) was on the sort of wage to afford that, but I must be wrong.
Respect for the honesty there! If he can afford it why not :)
I dont pick up much more than he pays for his car lol
I Was going by the LHD £185k example on PH.
But is it his car? That video almost make out it his personal car, but even as connected as he is with the motoring world (ie discounts) I wouldnt have thought he could afford one?
As I say, just the impression I got from the video.

Or cheaper lol
Most of the older members will see what I did to my first 1.2 Clio, So im not going to preach (Although personally, I dont think mine was too bad, it was professionally done etc)
I wouldnt have done the calipers/drums green but dear lord why didnt you mask stuff off and do them properly?
I think ill lower it at the same time and declare it as one, 1 admin fee then i guess.
I dont mind even if I had to pay, I was just wondering if I had to.
Im with Admiral they charged me £23 for my filter inc admin fee.
You can easily put a 2.0 RS lump into your 1.2, In fact, there are companies who do it for you.
For example

The only issue is the cost, it isnt cheap at all. You might as well sell yours and buy a 172, and you will get everything else...
Funnily enough, I hate the wheels normally. They are so bloody common on the CTR forum, and I Cannot fathom why as to me they look like cheap, generic Ripspeed 6 Spokes.
However, on this one, with the red lip, they look the absolute nuts!
