How do i tighten the auxillery belt on my mk2 ph1? yes iv tried the search button to no avail. do i just tighten the nut on the tensioner to stop the squeeking? Its getting proper loose now and needs sorting asap! cheers for any replys

you dont have to tbh, its all about what you want, if your only intrested in looks then drop it 60mm on springs(its cheaper although it will be rather uncomptable(sp)) if you want handling plus looks get shocks and springs. People only say you need shocks becuase dropping without will just wear...

yes, usally happens on early mk2s simple replace the rubber bits in the handle as they perish in the sunlight.
