hey guys aint posted in a while here my is my clio its droped 60mm on full apex kit its all brought from ktec brand new and this is how the back sits iv only coverd 200 miles in it singe fitting it should it go down a lot more? the rear is also stripped atm would this make a diffrence cheers guys

yeh it might settle after a little while, dont quote me on that. If you want it to drop futher, put a couple of subs in the back Looks good though matey
you should colour code the bump strips etc
And i would suggest some phase 2 rear lights

ya do want to colourcode it all and if it dont go as low as i want ill jsut have sell the apex kit and get some coilover lol's bit unsure on ph2 light i quite like fact they blend in

Are you sure that they are 60mm springs for the rear. My car had 40mm on the rear and the tires where nearly in the arches. That kit looks more 40 than 60mm.

Stripping the boot out makes a big difference but still the front seems a little high.

PS Love the wheel trims on the Lupo in the background. LOL

yeah looks like 40mm tbh, mine 40mm looked lower then that and when it was 60 it looked alot lower then 40

mite have to get in touch with ktec then and see if they can send me new springs and the wheels are at dogy angles the kit is for the 58mm and i have drilled it out to fit the 54mm but it took the 4mm out of one hole rather than 2mm out of each so need to change it then should sit str8 and haha ya the lupo is funny he is gay lol

Mine's only a bit lower than that and I've got a boot full of subbage, mine's on Spax -60mm at the back.

Camber at the front looks fucked dude!

keep phoning for a cancelation on ur test mate. when i did my test (a while ago now) i phoned twice a day everyday, on the third day i got a test within a week, was on a sat so cost a little extra but well worth it.

I got really lucky as it was on the week of the stafford half marathon so didnt have to drive around the town, just drove round a country lane which had recently had chippings laid...10mph speed limit lmao

Thats some serious positive camber. Should have got the kit with correct hole spacing. If there isnt one available get some second hand hubs or get an engineer to sort the struts. Looks like a right liability playing about enlarging or moving holes yourself. Will be interesting to see what values you'd be getting if you had a proper geometry test done on it.

Rear dampers wont take more than 10mins tops to change so i'd be inclined to swap those back too, not knowing what damping rate they are compared to standard.

yes the camber is way out as if you read it i have said the front shocks aint sitting rite the car has only coverd 200 miles like this as i am rovked so no need to rush getting it done as it sits there feeling sorry for its self

yup dampers back to standard and just fit the springs until you sort something out with either the front struts or hubs so the geometry is right.
