This week had the clios MOT. He passed it but the advisories was headlight being a bit high on the passenger side and the drivers rear caliper being not that great. My guess is a sticky slider? Either way, it passed for another year, but I'll rectify these issues ASAP. The car will tick over...
Fast forward to the weekend just gone and the clio git it's 3rd wash of the year! Spare time isn't as free as it was, pre kid so that explains that. Plus I've kind of fell out of love with it a tad as its used as a A to B car and I have to pick up my son 4 days a week so it feels a bit less...
I seem to have lost a few pics of stuff I've done. I bought a stahlbus easy oil drainer and fitted that. It does make driving a little more simple/less messy but because of the height I'm currently on, I didn't really like how low it sat. As I have no protection like a sump guard, I was worried...
Have not updated this in ages and to be honest, since the last update, not a lot has happened!
This broke on the boot. I can't even remember what the issue was looking back the pics. I think maybe the boot wasn't locking but it was a while back and my memory isn't super great! Luckily I had a...
AW Motorworks do both engine and gearbox rebuilds and can add extras if you wanted it.
I had my gearbox rebuilt by Alex last year and many others on here have and swear by him. He's based in Essex but worth it.
What did you pay Chris? We have the corded rotary version at work and have had it for years. It's been a bulletproof machine and still going strong 10 years later.
Nice little meet today and thanks to all for spending time with my little one. Weather was bang on! I did drive to the show car bit, but Drew was getting tired and i didnt have a buggy with me.
Haha, we went to a car show last week, just the 2 of us. I think I saw about 4 cars as the rest of the time was chasing him, making sure he don't grab the sticks off the floor and spear others cars!
I have my son on Sunday as Emily's working so I may swing over. Sometimes it's hard with a 1.5yr old on your own so will see on the day.
@Sunglasses_Ron you going wings I presume? There's a little park there isn't there?
Not exactly for kneeling but I have used these which helped. Bought originally for bike riding incase I had a off, but I've used them for kneeling on concrete also. The quite stretchy and have a soft pad so aren't hard to kneel on but offer some decent level of support. I quite the the nukeproof...
I fully get it. What your car is, isn't about the looks as such.
Wasn't trying to be negative or shout you down, I just think the oe wheels look better with very small arch gap. But lows and spacers are needed to achieve that, IMO.
Yours is perfect how it is for what you want 👍
