Hi all,
Looking to get my alloys resprayed in either gloss black or anthracite. However, i tried to get in touch with City Powder Coaters Ltd but it seems there to busy for a quote. Anybody know how much it would be to drop my car off rather than just the alloys?
Cheers
I removed my front bumper the other day to change my headlight washer jet and spray my faded grills black, however when resembling I cannot remember where this piece of trim fits? Any ideas would be good :)
Thanks
Thanks for the reply. Yeah my alloys are in mint condition, I just thought it would be a shame to DIY them. Think i'm going to go for RS-tuner. Just about to buy a new exhaust and just fitted my K-tec induction kit, I think the Tuner will just finish it off (driving wise).
As in title, I cannot decide whether to get my alloys powder-coated (Currently standard alloy silver, standard 182 alloys) or buy an RS-tuner. I'm currently suffering from a lumpy idle in which I've read that RS tuners solves.
Plus if I were to get my alloys done, i'm thinking a dark gun...
Is there any way to can remove the hose coming up from the acoustic valve which connects to the bottom of the standard air-box without jacking it up and taking the nearside wheel off?
I've tried jiggling it about, brute'forcing it and now have decided to check before I break something lol...
Tidy example, much love for the colour!
I had the same problem with my lights, wet and dry from 1000, 1200, 1500 to 2000. Then polish up with Autosol metal polish, comes up a treat. Don't be to abrasive with the wet and dry tho.
Have you managed to sort this as I have the exact problem? Changed spark plugs, and gave it a service still judders like hell. Was thinking coil pack and injectors but according to this seems like that still doesn't solve the problem?
Not sure if this is the right section, sorry if not.
Looking for a decent place to get my 182 alloys powder coated in Plymouth or surrounding areas?
If not i'll wait until I go home from uni and get it done at City Powder Coating in Birmingham for £30 a wheel
Thanks :approve:
Yeh, I've had a look around. Seen that some people just take the wheel off and do it that way but it might just be easier to take the bumper off, a bit of a ball ache though :/
