Hose Coming up from acoustic valve

Is there any way to can remove the hose coming up from the acoustic valve which connects to the bottom of the standard air-box without jacking it up and taking the nearside wheel off?

I've tried jiggling it about, brute'forcing it and now have decided to check before I break something lol.

(I'm fitting K-Tec induction kit)

nvm, Noticed that everyone just cuts it down.

Undo the acoustic valve, disconnect it from the Airbox and pull it out as one
