conysports. get them cheaply and they are a good all rounder. tread is lasting forever aswel. funny as they were the standard choice of tyre when it was made

very true i only really found out about it through default. wasn't in the know so didn't know there was one. went to look at a couple and this one was parked in the corner awaitng prep. seen that it was quite tidy and went ofr a drive next day....

people say so but it isn't its off a laguna but not the one with the 3 holes each side. its more rubber than plastic so it takes abuse, also doesn't crack or stress the front bumper. cost me a £5 note from a local scrappy.

alloy i believe. when we tried 205s on my lowered 172 cup they caught the arches on lock but apparantly its something to do with the cup suspension.

think its just luck mate. i drove a saxo vts for 57k with no troubles (very hard) then i had a saab aero and the gearbox gave up in that. damn me for having the six speed model....... mine seems ok in the cup....

not that i know of! will have a butchers at the buyers guide mate. cant find any differences....... know the very last172s have cruise control etc etc. if you want all the gadgets go for a later one by the looks of it
