I think id rather look like a doctor than a low level pharmaceuticals distributor. I am old though :ROFLMAO:
Jokes aside, realistically the grills dont look too bad on black cars, just dont do the wheels in black as well ffs.
Re: the doorlocks, they auto lock as you pull away, then auto unlock when you remove the key. To unlock them with the key in the ignition, simply pull the handle twice, once to unlock, once to get out. Rear doors are probably child locked, or one is broken.
Secret menu is here...
My 335's getting 40 odd on the motorway, high 20's with solely town useage, mid 30's on average.
Have you checked that yours is getting up to temperature correctly? Should be high 80's/90 coolant wise iirc.
Car looks great btw! Re: the DPF, they can be a bit smelly with it removed apparently...
Such an absolute bargain @Tim. Hope it treats you well!
The e90's are a surprisingly good steer for a "normal" car once you get through the "comfort levels" of the suspension and start leaning on it a bit ????
Good little bit of tinkering there!
Which reminds me, today i found out that the LCI model doesnt have the chilled coke can holder under the armrest like the pre LCI version.
Right penny pinching from BMW, so more retrofits for me to do
Its very annoying!!
Thankfully, the modification to fix it is really easy, takes longer to get the airbag off (y)

Re: XHP, i'll probably start driving the car properly...
Had a bit more of a poke around with the 335d yesterday, purely as the underfloor subs didnt seem to be working.
After removing the front seats, i was pleasantly surprised to find a set of MB Quart's staring back up at me, along with some wiring to the boot, where, despite the tell tale signs...
So for a variety of reasons, the 335i hasnt really moved much this month, mainly because i was using the 325i in the run up to Le Mans, but also because post "brokenwindowgate" i also noticed that the Bistable Relay (KL30g_f) in the Junction Box (the bit that the JBE/Junction Box Electronics...
Yes. Every day. Compared to the other e9*s ive had, it is just a step up in terms of driving pleasure, handling, noise, plus "the event" of driving it.
The 335i is probably just as quick in everyday driving, but it simply doesnt reward you at the top end like the M3's V8 did. That engine. Wow...
I just like the variety ?
Have fun: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=72&t=1686320&i=0
Everyone seems to hate the PH forum, but i find its really rather simple format quite refreshing compared to some!!
That makes me feel like im not the only nutter in the room, thank you...
Well, most of it :p
Not for ages lol, unless the 3.0 petrols get to sub £5k sooner than i think ...
In terms of the 325i updates. This just happened.

Semi-jokingly said i had too many e9*'s in a thread on PH, chap messaged me telling he wanted it, viewed it...
Couple of cans of tyre weld, but if its proper knackered, as per @alistairolsen breakdown cover and a nice 4 hour wait on the side of the road no doubt ?
Alternatively, this solution would work: https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=808084
I get the following from cmwheels off m3cutters, "forum10" will get you 10% off (y)
BMW Wheel Spacers
5x120 / 72.6
2 Pack
Silver Spacers
2x12mm Bimecc Spacers
Silver Bolts
Without Lock Bolts
In terms of tyres, ive got Hankook runflats on this and Michelin PS4's on the 335i - the ride...
Love this thing.
10th Le Mans in a row, car acted as a van, carrying literally ALL the stuff :ROFLMAO:
There's a fridge in there, plus a BBQ, in excess of 150 bottles of beer, enough food for 6 people for 5 days, plus all our camping gear!
To the roof all the way to the back of the front...
XHP is available, should say on the massive e90post thread somewhere and/or the website id imagine.
Glad you go this bought, as soon as you sent it to me i knew it was a good un!!
39mpg is probably about right for motorway use on the N53, ive just done 800 miles to and from Le Mans, fully...
Funny you should say that ...
After a few months of searching, this just popped up on Ebay in Lithuania. Naturally, i bought it straight away:

I'll still need to...
Bit late now, but i always used to run Kumho KU39's or Falken FK452's on my e46's.
If you dont like the Uniroyals just take them off and put them on eBay - people always want to save a few quid on tyres.
I would thoroughly recommend doing another track Mark, out of all the ones ive done in the UK, i.e. Goodwood, Snetterton, Brands, Bedford, Llandow, Haynes, Thruxton, Donnington, Cadwell & Castle Combe id say its probably in my bottom 3 lol. Its technical in that its high speed and you have to...
Ha ha, i try :ROFLMAO:
This?:
I'll now add that i feel alot of the "issues" people read about with the N54 are due to typical BMW incompetence/customer wanting perfection in the early days (a bit like VANOS on e36's, SMG pumps on the e46, actuators on the e90 etc etc). Slight turbo rattle =...
Had some fun with the 335i this week.
Was swopping CIC into it and forgot to disconnect the battery .....
Result = short circuit, bricked JBE and me locked inside the car with no power.
Being that it was a VERY hot day. I had to smash the window from inside, my foot didnt work, so had to use my...
All i can say its that its been a pleasure.
The day i collected my first Porsche, in Guards/Trophy Red naturally, was one of the best days of my life.
So to be a part in making that happen for you, after all the issues with #165, genuinely makes me so happy ? ... ? ? ? ? ?
It does yes, but to do it in a FWD hot hatch on sticky tyres takes considerably less balls/skill than doing it in something RWD imho.
The lap time is very impressive, but it all just leaves me a little cold now ive done a couple of trackdays in something other than the Mini.
Suggestion 1 - put some carpet in the boot & you wont notice the dent in the floor.
Suggestion 2 - fix the bumper in a slightly less pikey way/fit a new one.
Id warrant that that car is still in considerably better overall condition than 99% of 1*2's out there :ROFLMAO:
