    A mature drivers car.

I especially like that the multicoloured theme runs from the interior through to the outer body panels. Only a British Engineering firm like Rover could get that spot on. These were a good bus in their day though, i always thought that the Rover 75 was the car that Jaguar should have built as...

Newbie greetings - I now have the racing bug - the £5k track challenge!?

Excellent work! Just a quick suggestion, learn to drive on track with road tyres - they lose grip far easier so you can hone your abilities quicker. Especially if its wet. In the dry, in a clio, you can drive like an absolute ham fisted moron with R888's or similar and still be quick. That wont...

    e91 335i. The Unicorn.

Yup. Its fairly poor isnt it, i mean the part wasnt exactly expensive (£35 posted from Germany), so they should have just replaced it really. I think the thing that really annoys me with the main dealer is that they just dont care, i mean, the saloon 335i has full BMW history as well and the...

    Chi's Clio Collection

At least he hasnt said its a "built" engine, which seems to be the latest buzzword amongst all the instagram/youtube numpties.

After the ABS sensor, here we have some excellent bodging ... Most impressive given this car has only ever been worked on by those lovely people at Cooper BMW as it was under warranty 🤣 This is the panel next to the sunroof buttons, hidden behind it is the bluetooth microphone. The unit has...

Abs is now fixed courtesy of a £46 Pagid wheel speed sensor. Apparently the part on the right was replaced at the point i was sold the car, 700 dry miles ago :rolleyes: Untitled by Sir_Dave, on Flickr

    New daily - E91 330d

Probably not, the Americans dont get the M47, so if the box is different to the ZF 6HP, they wont care about it, map wont be available etc. Generally if you want to mod and/or DIY a BMW, get something they sell in the US, makes life a lot easier.

I did think of that, but wrapping just isnt OEM enough for me, it always looks a bit sh1t,no matter how well its been done! Thought about getting my light walnut sprayed as it would give a much better finish, but that probably wouldnt be much cheaper than buying the proper trim.

Alfa 159 2.4 JTDM Sportwagon TI

On the flipside, you could probably buy another Alfa every 3 months with the depreciation you are saving by not using the Rangie lol.

    A new daily

I'd suggest the above as well, my old one was great ... once id removed the swirl flaps and changed to a vortex filter anyways. Quick enough, relaxed on the motorway, 48mpg no matter how i drove, nice on the twisty bits. IMG_0426 by Sir_Dave, on Flickr

    Stolen Trophy? T800PHY

This thread reminds me of this one: https://cliosport.net/threads/possible-abandoned-car.375079/ Except its "abandoned pink clio" instead of "abandoned red polo" 😂 In terms of a sensible suggestion, i assume you've put a thread on cliotrophydetailing.net?

    Clio with Rotrex super charger

All the turbo ones just seem to break down a lot lol. Plenty done over the years, so its not like its a case of 2 built, 1 broke, so OMG they must be unreliable. Its like 30 built, 30 broken down :ROFLMAO: @Cub. s/c was awesome. Cost more to build, but just worked. As i know from personal...

    Clio with Rotrex super charger

People tend to go with turbo'ing as its cheaper. The usual joke on CS is that people build turbo'd clios, then they spend more time being fixed than driven. After a couple of years, the owner gets bored of fixing the POS constantly and sells up for 1/5 of the build cost. Now, i havent owned a...
