sorry I know what your saying, but in context its more like picking up a bag of sugar by the bag, or by a handle. The weight would imo be the only factor, and wouldn't affect the performance when accelerating or at top speed in a noticeable way I dont think.
With the difference in tyres theres probably only about an inch difference in the overall diameter, so to make any real noticeable difference in speed you would need a much bigger wheel, maybe a 20"...
Thats what I did with mine. Went to a local audio place and asked them what they recommend as a good HU to run a system from, mostly because the JVC has a crappy 2-band equaliser so I could never get just the right sound and they recommended this HU, so I had a nosey and found it at car audio...
That isn't an attractive HU either, and the spec on mine I prefer. bought for a good spec, I've had nice looking but useless JVC for the last couple of years.
However, if you want coaxials you can do and leave the standard tweaters in, it will provide you with plenty enough treble for a non-amped system. The sony box you've got up there sounds ok, just dont expect big volume from it. If you were looking at spending a few hundred then pheonix gold is...

I wanted to get neons in my footwells but didn't want to wire it to the cigarette lighter. A friend wired his to his headlights in his yaris so when the headlights come on so do the neons, looks great
I have been looking for a strut brace for my 1.2 dynamique. I have tried motorworld and their suppliers say that no companies do strut braces for 1.2, thats sparco, omp and e-tech etc etc. However Sparco do one for the 1.6. Would a strut brace intended for a 1.6 go in mine no problems? If not...
