could always stick with the 1.4 and build up your cash/no claims and get something your hearts well and truly set on. man if you want the clio you want it, if you dont you dont. if you're not sure wait until you are, then go looking for a sweet one
I was just gonna suggest trading standards :D I think you should wait and see what they say, once they have confirmed the strength of your case you can go back to renault and make 'an offer' to let them help you outside of any legal battles. I think compensation should include the cost of the...
If you push the button at the end of the wiper stalk it cycles through the trip computer :D
The things I hate about my clio are the annoying rattles, and the gas powered clutch that fires you're foot off of it, its fookin evil when its uphill and im trying to be carefull
ah no worries, just all about personal taste. i'd still recommend splitting everything through a multi-channel amp regardless of the speakers you're using, when I ran a sub/amp and then my speakers from the head I couldn't find a nice balance without something getting distorted/overpowered. when...

I've got in the standard tweaters, wire straight to an updated head unit. This way its helped to keep the balance and i can run the head unit to full volume without them distorting, and they sound awesome. so get some standard replacements IMO
I went with first alternative for my 1st car, it was steap at £2k but it was an insurance group 8 and I'd rear ended some-one and written off my mums old astra :( shop around man, ull probably knock a few hundred off. try http://www.moneysupermarket.com/motor/ they have produced some ace quotes...
Sorry, I cant shrink the pic :( but this looks pretty sweet!! http://www.pa-tuning.com/index2.php?page=detail_cat.php&idmarque=11&idgamme=1&nomgamme=X-trend&nommarque=Renault&PHPSESSID=122f667bcb884803ce25b9ab14b9ef8b#
Theres a world of difference between calling some-one a chav when they are acting like a complete nob, or having the person the that put those dents in the car working your face the same way!! you did the right thing man I'm 6ft2 and 17stone I'd still be afraid, it doesn't warrant getting out...
tim westwood would chrome it, he's too stupid for anything else :D the mohave front bumper looks cool but the evolution skirt and rear bumper looks ace, link: http://www.k-tecracing.com/show_product.asp?id=1316&pic=4 or from the front http://www.k-tecracing.com/show_product.asp?id=1316&pic=3
I'll have to set the height of the beems properly, I had angel eyes on my last car and played for ages but gave up, I think they were worse than the newer land rovers with xenon headlights
I've got one on mine, it looks pretty good and sounds sweet, think raspy when revving it but relatively quiet when not. http://www.essexracing.com/product_info.php?products_id=680
hmmm, I'm thinking a service is definately on the cards when I get paid it just rolled past 62k, i'm also thinking maybe a green air panel filter and looking at a cold air feed. Its only a slight difference until it comes to either people in the car or hills :(
Hiya, I'm relatively new here. I used to have a 1.4 16v astra and recently bought a 51 plate 1.2 16v clio. I expected a drop in power but didn't expect acceleration to be so much less. I was wondering if anyone has any serious cost effective ways to improve the acceleration?? I was thinking...
