Jack, Renault have come good and provided a picture of the boot floor, have you fitted one of these?, do I need to purchase any other bits? Any other useful info would be greatly appreciated.
Take a bolt out and look at the profile of the shoulder that matches against the face of the recess in the wheel and also have a look at the profile of the recess in the wheel - they should match. Some bolts/wheels have different profiles, have a look on the web at the different bolt profiles...
Long story short - the rear-beam slipped off the jack and the jack has dented the wheel well, so I’d also be interested in the wheel-well delete piece. Do you/anyone please know how much it costs? Thanks.
I removed some light scratches out of my headlight the other day with Autoglym Paintwork Revitaliser (or what ever it’s called) and then AG Super Resin Polish. It’s absolutely like new now, didn’t think for one minute it would turn out so well. I wouldn’t feel confident using a mechanical...
Why not repair it yourself, get a ‘David's Fastglass Glass Fibre Kit from Halfords and then some 'David's Isopon P40' filler. I’ve done this myself and I’m definitely no bodyshop mechanic, take your time and you’ll get a great finish then all you’d need to do is have it sprayed at a later date.
Well I’ve ordered the straight-through middle section, should arrive tomorrow so I’ll be able to fit it at the weekend. Will take it for a spin afterwards and see what difference it’s made, I can always swap it back if it’s too much.
Thanks, I don’t mind the sound of the Stealth & de-cat, it has a nice pop now and again but it just sounds 'normal' now, like I say it’s a track car and doesn't get used much on the road let alone the motorway so I just fancy a bit of fun and liven the noise up a little. I just don’t want it to...
Thanks, just did a bit of searching on the internet and the Club MSV site says Brands is 105 static and 92 drive-by so like you say I should be ok. I know this has been covered before, but what's your opinion on the noise of the Supersport Stealth with the decat? I'm not fussed about droning...
I have the K-tec/Janspeed Stealth system and de-cat on my track 172, I’ve been thinking about popping the centre section from the Supersport stealth on and loosing my centre-silencer and a few kg’s. It would be fun to have a bit more noise and I can always swap them over if it gets a bit too...
Too many posts are ending up like this, regardless of rules the moderators should intervene more. I think if someone asks for constructive comments then so be it, but unnecessary comments are just that. If someone doesn’t like what they see and unless constructive then why bother commenting?!

….It just depends on how much I win, if it’s a couple of hundred grand I’ll finish the Clio off, get a Q5 and the new Boxster S and put the rest on the house. If it’s millions then definitely the Mexico Blue...

Unfortunately you’re right. Although I’ve got 4 lucky-dips for this Saturday - if I win I’ll treat you to that Polycarb rear window!!

Thanks James, yes I have a credit for the full amount and will get the 24th booked ASAP. Bloody work hey, gets in the way of the Gentleman-Racer lifestyle!!

James, sod’s law I can’t now make the 3rd due to work commitments, next day out (hopefully!!) will be April 24th at Brands. Frustrating as I also had to cancel my last day which was March 15th. Never mind hey.
I wouldn’t have put RC5+'s in the rear as they're probably not getting warm enough to do any braking. Pop your old OEM pads in and see if it makes any difference. Whatever the problem is just stick with OEM pads in the rear.
I bought a Karcher jet wash the other day, was on special offer at B&Q and was actually cheaper than on Amazon etc, it was £199.99 down to £159.99. I cant remember the model number (K3.something) or else i'd recomend the same model. Anyway for £160 its great.

Likewise James. Ok, I’ll look out for you when I arrive. Looking forward to it already!
Is my PH1 front diamond the same as the ones fitted to the PH2 and 182’sAlso, how on earth does it come out as there don’t look to be any screws underneath, does it just pop out? Thanks.
Good for you mate and I totally agree. As for your question a couple of posts ago, yes the dark grey, anthracite, it looks like the colour of say titanium or gun-metal grey. I think it would suit your blue really well and would be a bit meaner than silver and easier to clean than white.
I need to leave the 172 around the in-laws for a couple of weeks while we have some work done on the house and I need to clear the garage out. The car will be under a car-port but I want to protect it from the in-laws & dog etc pushing past it. I’ve done a search on the site but couldn’t find...

I meant a mad hammerite colour, someone on here had cleaned their beam up and painted it yellow hammerite, looked like they’d done a really good job.

Will be in touch. Definitely more than 2 seconds – it’s orange after all!! If you’ve not painted it yet, why not go for a mad colour instead?

I’m coincidentally seeing my track-buddy this afternoon so will have a chat with him and see when he can next get out…. I might end up doing both. I’ve got to test all the go-faster orange bits!!
