They're arch liners, under the f*cking car you bunch of weirdos. Let them get dirty 😂
If you want to clean/polish something until you can lick your dinner off it, take the head off & do the valves.
Personally, i found it fairly easy to notice the difference between a normal 1*2, the Trophy and the Trophy on H&R coilovers.
I did a brief write-up on the latter two options here: Sir_Dave's Trophy. 1 x Miley Shed.
The beauty of the T is that it was 100% OEM from the manufacturer, you can...
Keep the car, do track days, dont bother about the cambelt.
If/when it eventually blows up (probably wont), break it & make more money than you would selling it as a whole anyway.
So with a deposit now placed on the R56, i swopped the Turinis/AD08R's back onto the R53 yesterday afternoon.
With it being nice & sunny, i also decided to fit the Aero front bumper that's also been clogging up the shed for aaaaaages ....

After:
Now, here is the slightly off-kilter...
Hai.
£10k is a lot for a 106 gti that they havent even prepped properly.
But considering Clio V6's are now £25-45k, are no quicker than a 1*2 and handle like a broken 911, anything is possible 😂
Yup, i was more than happy with my AP coilovers, although i would also recommend fitting a Whiteline/Superpro Anti-Lift kit whilst its all apart.
The combination of the two made for a far sweeter handling car imho!
Same.
Although if the spoilers/diffuser have been added with the intention of reducing lift, which naturally, i assume they have, i cant see that having the exhaust sticking out one side of the car will help with airflow. Surely it would create a pressure area meaning that the car would turn...
Now that, is very nice, lovely spec!!
Coupple of suggestions for you though:
Bilstein Coilovers - Dont bother, they rattle on the GP2's. If you want premium, buy Ohlins, for £800 buy Meister R/ST XTA/BC Racing
Mich Supersport 4s - yup, perfect choice
Drilled front discs with EBC yellowstuff pads...
Can i suggest that you pm which dealer it is to @The Boosh! - considering he works for Renault & runs this site, i'm sure he'd love to know which utterly inept dealer it is.
Same. Those rear springs pretty much fall out when you jack the car up from memory!!
Maybe one bolt to drop the rear sub-frame thingy. These are my coilovers, but similar.
Ah you should have fitted some H&R springs!!!
They look great on them ... and less likely to fail again than the OEM ones.
The OEM dampers are Bilstein iirc, so springs work fine.
That's what i did initially, but it just made the car feel a little slow at town speeds - will probably take a lot of messing around to find something i'm happy with. Would prefer to have an "RS" button like the "M" button in the e90 that holds the best personal settings, is a bit of a faff...
Ha ha, they are massively Bradford i do agree, but seeing that i live in a nice part of Surrey, sans badmaz, its not so much an issue.
I haven't actually seen another one down here, its Golf R's that are everywhere 🙈
Price wise, i paid £30.5k, so hopefully a fairly good deal ...
Sorry...
No chance lol. I cant imagine even PS4S' can stop 1750 kgs of Audi understeering through a corner at 130 😂 With our wedding next year & pre-booked holidays, i actually have no holiday available for 2017-18 anyways lol, so after the day at Goodwood on the bank holiday, i cant imagine...
I know exactly what you mean, but i guess i fancied something a little more "adult" & comfortable for my 1 hour morning traffic jam commute, hence i was looking at DSG Golf's initially. Being brutally honest, i only bought it because i've (hopefully) bought it at a price whereby it wont lose any...
@ForceIndia I might just put R888's on the front, Wanli's on the back, instant oversteer despite Audi.
Also, if you like our collection, I have a number of mini's you can purchase if you would like :tonguewink:😂
Nah, is just the standard one, no "interconnecting pipe", already checked.
First owner was a doctor, so they just specced the nice ride, not the badmanz exhaust unfortunately 😞
Firstly, this wasn't an intentional purchase, i was perfectly happy with my green Mini and obviously Audi's are for people that like to understeer everywhere, xenons blazing. Especially the faux by faux ones with auto boxes. The Golf Gti/R however, had my interest, so i was looking at them...
Nah, he wanted too much money. And his probably smelt of pigs.
Wasn't planning on buying one at all (i was looking at Golf Gti/R's), but a work associate was looking to trade this in, so i said id have it.
lol. First attempt at parking, definitely longer than than a Mini 😂
Perhaps. I'll see if anyone wants it as it is first though ...
The sad time has now come however, as i picked up a nice sensible automatic Audi on Thursday
With that in mind, the R56 is now definitely up for sale...
Yes, id imagine that compared to N. Ireland, the prices over here are quite ridiculous!!
Considering your current occupation & the work that you've done on that e-type recently, one of my customers might be worth a look:
Crosthwaite & Gardiner...
Bradford is a complete & utter sh1thole.
Mind you, it makes Birmingham, your last choice, seem positively radiant.
On the flipside, if you are looking to buy a badly repaired/bodykitted/tinted/badmanz spec Cat C M3/RS3/AMG there are a multitude of garages that will be able to service your...
