If you like that, you'd love Mach at the NEC!! Southern Manufacturing is very much small fry in comparison.
I finance a fair bit of CNC software, but rarely get to see the machines in action - i find them mesmerising!
lol.
I haven't had a Clio since 2013 (Minis now), the forum is great though & ive made plenty of mates/internet fwends through it

Ummm, the quality seems ok on the videos above lol, still 1080 HD or whatever its called
I didn't bother editing it any further than what Harry's can do, but assume you can mess about with it further on the computer if you want to.
Thanks! I'd say its probably on a par with a mk3 at a...
Its a fairly basis setup, so just the phone (for timing/gps etc), then a Sony HDR-AS100V Action Cam for video.
The phone tells the camera when to start recording (at the beginning of the first full lap), then you stop it manually when you go back into the pits.
Once home, copy the camera files...
Couple of videos from the recent trackday at Bedford.
The car was brilliant all day long - spent lots of time faffing about with suspension settings & got it to a point that it was going rather well! The beauty of the Ohlins is that whilst they can be perfectly soft for day to day usage, a...
The daft thing is, out of all of the car finance companies we use, only one insists that a tracker is fitted.
And that's only in case they need to repo it, not to track it if its been stolen. Madness really.
Unfortunately, whilst i think ALA do do a policy where you get your deposit back, its fairly new so not something that VW will have offered at the time i wouldn't have thought. Genuinely amazed at how many Golf R's have been nicked, its like the 90's hot hatch theft crisis all over again! Except...
@r0ss172 that will settle any outstanding finance with VW/Leaseplan whoever it is.
From ALA website:
Back to Invoice Plus - In the event of a total loss claim, Back to Invoice GAP Insurance (also known as Return to Invoice) will either pay the difference between the comprehensive insurance...
Ah, i thought he might be!!
He did a load more work putting it together yesterday i think.
Well, i say a lot, he was probably hanging after our leaving drinks on Sat night 😂
@Nick172Cup
A gun?! To steal a Golf. Holy f*ck. Utter utter scumbags.
Proper terrible that, hope the experience doesn't give you & your fiance too many nightmares!
I was thinking exactly that, the thought of her having just being strapped into the baby seat is terrifying.
Thanks for taking Sarah's Dad out @GrahamS, he was rather impressed with the revvy nature of the clio!! Not sure if he ever went out in any of my Trophys, so cheers for that
I thought it was a pretty good day to be honest, barely anyone there initially, which meant that when the rain did...
Nice to know that it still starts first time:
Naturally after not moving for 9 months, the battery needed a charge, but other than that ...
Have a track day in the R56 on Saturday, so i guess ill be deciding what to do with the old timer soon afterwards
There are better deals around for sure, but you wont get the level of cover that BMW/Mondial give.
Non-manufacturer aftermarket warranties are generally a waste of money to be fair.
It has gone up massively in the last 12 months though, mine was going to be circa £90 a month on 58k miles.
Oopsy, hes obvs he's not a lying t0sspot then 😂
The discs are £15 on m3cutters, theres a chap who updates the firmware/maps every year. You can just download them, but im lazy.
Just one thing to note, in case you're mate didnt mention it. The warranty prices increases MASSIVELY after...
The MPerformance exhaust sounds good i think, my issue is with the fitment - they stick out much further than the standard exhaust & make it look a bit like a wheelbarrow.
My sentiments exactly!!!
Looks like a great purchase, i do miss the engine/noise of my old one to be fair 😌
Just for reference, & im not sure what the lying t0sspot dealer told you, but the "Pro" Navigation, rear PDC & tri-colour steering wheel are all standard on the M3  The 19's...
From memory, re: your pictures, the first version was two "off the shelf" parts spliced together, whereas the second was after they had a custom part made by jenvey from their cad designs.
The inards were pretty much the same iirc, it was just a change in manufacturing.
The rs2 extra was an...
Nah, mine doesn't have the PSE, so is fairly quiet actually! Roof up you get a lot of induction noise, but roof down you can't hear anything bar the wind. Being the homo that i am, as i only drive it for "special" that means the roof is down for pretty much every drive!! I'd like a PSE, but its...
